How can I help the Movers on my team move up to the next level?

Keep lines of communication with your movers open and check to make sure they are moving toward their goals. Let them know how valuable they are and show them where they may need more VP in their VP ledger. Perhaps you can give them some TCredits or a gift certificate to help them. Be very careful about gift certificates, however. You do not want to make affiliates dependent on you. You want them to build their own team and work on their own.
Add some affiliates by giving them shares if they have joined your co-ops. If possible, reassign some affiliates to them as well. This should only be done if you have affiliates who are EAs and you can help them get to higher levels.
Above all, always be encouraging and positive. Affiliates must know how valuable they are to your team. This will help motivate them to move to greater heights.

What's a better investment and why? TCredits or S-Builder Co-op?

TCredits would be the better investment, but S-Builder Co-Op shares will help you gain new affiliates and build your team.
TCredits are like currency. You can do just about anything with them: Play games, bid at the auctions, buy items at TripleClicks and give them to PRMs, PSAs or CSAs. You gain VP when you purchase them, just as you do when you purchase other items. You gain VP when you purchase S-Builder shares, which help you build your team. That is very important. However, S-Builder shares are simply that, not currency.

Should I or shouldn't I try to recruit people to become SFI affiliates when they are not English speakers/readers?

Yes, you definitely should sponsor affiliates who do not speak/read English. The reason is that there is a translator on the SFI web pages that may be used, so that the affiliate can translate what is written into his/her own language. In fact, at one time I sponsored an affiliate who spoke Arabic and helped him get started by showing him that there is a translator there.
Another thing that proves to be helpful is that many people who live in non-English speaking countries do learn English where they live. These people are able to help their fellow countrymen to learn the language. Those of us who speak English can also help them to learn the language as well.
As sponsors, we can use a translator to communicate with affiliates who do not speak English, if we need to.
The fact that Gery Carson and his team have had the foresight to work all this out so this business could be a worldwide one is commendable!

Good communication with our team is vital in SFI, but what if we are not good writers; how do we learn to write well?

It is true that communication is very important in everything, including your business. Written communication is vital here. Writing is something you can learn, just like anything else. One of the main ways to learn how to write is to read often. See examples of good writing and learn from them. Take notes if you must.
Another way to learn how to write is to practice. Learning by doing is the best way to improve your writing skills. When doing this, check your spelling and grammar by using your word processing tools available to you. Also, be sure to proof your work. Many people fail to do this and find out later that glaring errors have been made.
Think about what you want to say to those who read your message. Keep it short and to the point.
It may take some time and practice, but you can become an excellent writer and make your messages enjoyable for those who read them.

What's the best way to communicate with your downline?

The best way to communicate with your downline is whatever works for you. There are numerous ways that SFI has built into the system. You could do the following.
1. Send an email to your affiliate when you want to communicate directly with just that affiliate. However, you can do that using the Communications Manager built into SFI.
2. Send eCards to your affiliates when you want to communicate with one and congratulate him/her on reaching a goal or perhaps to wish the affiliate a happy birthday or send some other message.
3. Use the messaging feature available on every page and also available in the Affiliate Snapshot and Movers and Genealogy. That is also good for individual affiliates.
4. Use the Genealogy Team Mail to send out messages to all your team or to whichever combinations of groups you would like.
5. Send messages in the Stream to all your affiliates.
6. Communicate through the Forum.
You could telephone affiliates in your area that you sponsor. I wouldn't do that in the case of affiliates in very long distances where cost is very high.
My own preference is to contact affiliates through the PSA Mailer, the CSA Mailer and the Communications Manager at the SFI Affiliate Center or the Stream. That way, if something goes wrong with the affiliate's email address, you can still contact him/her. That is why these tools are provided. This should be very helpful to you.

What's a great welcome gift for new PSAs and CSAs?

I would not give a welcome gift to new affiliates. Why? Because that is not the main attraction. SFI has already provided incentives for new affiliates by making the program free to join and the training free. SFI has also provided the TCredit and $1 incentive. You really want to encourage affiliates to start working right away on their business, but do not give them a handout.
Should I prospect people to become affiliates only from my own country...or from everywhere?

Since SFI is an international business, it really pays to gain affiliates from everywhere. It doesn't matter if they speak English or not, because SFI has provided a translator and Google Translate is also available.
Gaining the maximum income from sponsoring affiliates from all over the world is key to moving your entire team in the business. It is critical, because your desire should be to help everyone possible to earn income and to move from lack to abundance. For this reason, you don't want to limit yourself to your own country or region. The more people who learn about SFI and TripleClicks, the better. The more people you reach, the more you will gain eventually. Not everyone is suited for a home-based business, but you will find the ones that are by reaching out to everyone you can, online and offline.

How important is it that your family embrace your SFI business...and what if they don't?

It is very important that your family supports you in your business. They can give you encouragement when things are not going well. They can help you reach other prospects and customers. They can help lighten your load when there is a lot of work to accomplish in a short time.
If, however, your family does not support your business venture, it's really too bad, but don't allow this to discourage you or think of quitting as an option. Love them and remember that they're not against you. They are rejecting a concept. Continue to spend time with them and let them see how this business is growing as you earn more and more. You never know when a family member might become interested.
Remember, never force anyone, family member or anyone else, to become an affiliate or a member. That never works, and you can sure turn off those people and many more when they talk to others about how bad they think the business is and how you tried to coerce them. If they don't want to talk with you about your opportunity, leave them alone and continue to grow without them. Keep a positive attitude and keep moving.

How do I reassure prospective TripleClicks customers that shopping is safe and secure and they will receive delivery of product?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
TripleClicks has security in place that will not allow anyone to commit fraud on the website. Any person who reads what is on the site and who clicks on the appropriate link at the bottom will find information concerning security that has been put in place. Also, when anyone logs on for the first time, using a computer or iPhone, verification steps must be taken and a verification number is sent to the person who will be using the site.
SFI has placed security measures on that site as well, because TripleClicks sales is the lifeblood of SFI.
If you need to explain to someone about security issues at SFI and TripleClicks, show the person the site and how it works and where the security information is and what it says. This will definitely assure anyone that it is safe to shop there. If a person is not convinced, then perhaps this business is not suitable; and nothing can convince that person that any internet shopping is safe.
I hope this answer to your question is helpful.

What is the best way to help affiliates in my group who have limited access to a computer?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
A person must have daily access to a computer or iPhone to grow in this business. If this is not the case, explain that there are various places where computers may be accessed. These include libraries, cafes or a frend or family member's computer. While using these, perhaps you could help the affiliate by providing some TCredits for bidding at the auctions to try to win a phone and/or a computer. If an affiliate has the means to do so, he/she can purchase these things at TripleClicks.
If the affiliate lives near you, you may want to help with your own equipment; but you should be very careful about this, for security reasons.
I hope my answer is helpful.
