One of the toughest things to promote to many young people unfortunately, is hard work. However, I have found promoting the ECA program to be a successful avenue for this question. One of the toughest things to do in this business is to get up out of the computer chair and in front of people.
Working the ECA program allots everyone, but especially the younger generation, the opportunity to meet people face to face, and after the first one it is sooooo easy and exciting. Also, working the ECA program the way it is designed will provide more fruit. Don't try to fix what ain't broke.
Study the program diligently before you start. Go to your MARKETING TAB and click on ECA. Next, click on "Strategies for referring ECAs". Print out all the Frequently Asked Questions and put them in a loose leaf notebook and take it with you. Make sure you print out the first page you come to so you will have an index. Make sure you take the restricted items list so they know what the cannot sell. That list is found here: www.tripleclicks.com/restricted_sale_items.php
And most of all....teach them that a no from a customer now is only a yes from another later. Everyone wants to advertise and make sales, some folks just don't like change. Have fun with this and wish you all the best!!!
