Which is more effective--paid or free advertising--and why?

Your advertising is only as effective as your Ad title and your Ad copy (the content of the Ad itself). There are free and paid media which you can advertise and get good results. The best way to be effective in either one is to research the media that you wish to advertise in to see if they have a large membership actually reading their Ads. Also, make sure their media targets the type of potential customers you wish to reach.

What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

You don't have to know a lot of people in order to be successful in SFI.
What you do need to know is how to market a product or service to other people. This knowledge can be taught and SFI provide very good training in this area of business. One would also have to know place to market their SFI business opportunity. Again, SFI provides this knowledge.
If the person has an interest in learning to build their own business in this type of industry, there are lots of free training for them on the Internet and at SFI.

What is the best way to use TripleClicks X-Cards?

Print or stamp your SFI ID number in the gray box located on side two of your cards and start distributing them per the marketing methods and tips outlined at the Methods For Generating TC Sales. Give a TC X-Card to friends, family members, co-workers, associates, etc. Put a TC X-Card in every outgoing piece of mail you send out including bills. Leave a TC X-Card with your bill/tip each time you dine out at a restaurant. Pass them out to strangers while waiting on the bus or train or while walking or jogging.

Does free advertising work for sponsoring affiliates?

Free advertising does work and the same amount of work goes into free advertising as in paid advertising. Advertising is a 'job' and an art within itself. One has to learn how to create the correct content (ad), advertise to the correct audience (a specific group of people within the target market) for your product in order to target only those who will truly work your program. Free advertising pays if you know your product and can determine your target audience.
How can I create a good ad?

In order to design a good ad, you have to know your product, your potential customer and then write an attention grabbing headline and the body of the ad should show what benefit the product provide to the customer.

Turning a Tripleclicks member into a buyer is the same as for any other potential customer. If you see a product that you can testify as to it's benefits, then let others know about it. If you have clout, can communicate a sense of power or influence, then potential customers will be driven to buy the product.
I don't have time to do free advertising. What are the best paid advertising options?

There are a lot of traffic exchange programs on the Internet. You can join for free and advertise for free with very little time involved. However, you can pay for more traffic if you desire at the traffic exchanges. SFI gives us free gateway URLs to help us get signups for our business, advertise them at traffic exchange sites for continuous traffic to your SFI gateway. If you are not aware of traffic exchanges just do a search for the term on the internet.

If your friends are actually looking for another source of income, then show them SFI through your Gateway URL. If they are looking for a product that is provided through
sfI, then show them this product through your TripleClicks Gateway.

I would help them to find a product that they feel real strongly about, then encourage them to share the information about this product with others.
I found several products that I use and promote; Veriuni Advanced Liquid Nutrition, books and e-books, Collectables and Figurines, and the IAHBE.
I use the products and so I know that they are good value to promote to others.

While SFI is unique and legitimate, there are many other companies that are ligitimate and unique that are not successful.
SFI, because it is successful, means that it has a body of leaders that knows how to market to the global community. It means that SFI has products that benefit the global community and provide support to it's customers and affiliates.
