What are some good phone scripts to use in welcoming new affiliates, or contacting your warm market?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
Like everyone else, I am turned off by canned speeches or sales pitches. My input is "keep it simple for them and for you." Don't try to explain the whole business over the phone. Most people's ears don't last that long!
I might say something like, "Hey Jackie, I have a business you might be interested in. Can I send you some information about it?"
Another approach might be, "John, I ran across a way to make money online. Would you be interested? I can send you some information."
An approach for a potential ECA, "Listen, have you ever considered marketing your products internationally? I think your products might sell well. I'll send you some information."
Another approach to a potential ECA might be, "Hey, a like your store. Have you tried marketing online? Online marketing is a big business these days. Would you mind if I sent you some information on how to market your products online?"
Still another potential ECA approach might be. "Wow, you have an incredible selection here! Would you be interested in listing your products in our international catalog?"

If you are not good at approaching people face to face, what are some tips to improve in this area?

What is currently your greatest weakness will become your greatest strength. Find occasion to get out and meet people. Practice starting a conversation. Learn to make eye contact with people and simply smile. Then add a Hi to your smile. People all over the world are looking for friendly people. I would suggest going out without an agenda first. Just meet and get to know people. Take an interest in their lives. You will find that most people like nothing better then talking about their lives. Find out what they do for a living. Listen more than you talk. That is why you have two ears and only one mouth. The important thing is not to dump information on people immediately when you first meet them, before you have established any connection with them.
You might not even mention the business on the first meeting, but if you happen to get their card, you can call them back later (remind them of where and when you met them) and maybe an opening line might be something like, "I was just thinking, you seem pretty sharp. I have a business opportunity I would like to share with you. I can't promise anything, but it might be something you would be interested in. Where can we meet?"
You might invite them for a coffee or a tea. A lot will depend on the type place you are most comfortable in. It certainly could help if you carried some business or promotional cards that you could give them, but don't forget to get their card as well. That could make a conversation very brief and to the point. If you meet someone in a store who looks like they might be an employee, just say to them, Hi, Do you work here? Whatever they answer, you reply "Great." "Would you be interested in earning extra money online?" " Here is my card. "How can I get a hold of you?" There are a million and one variations of these conversations.

How can I get my friends and family members interested in selling TripleClicks products?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
If you have a product you particularly like, especially one that almost everyone can use, you can send a sample for people you know to check out. This tells the people that you are a distributor, and that you sincerely believe in the product. If you accompany your sample with a catalog of related products, you are bound to end up with a customer. This method could be used with cosmetics, cleaning products, and lots of other things.
A possible cheaper method of generating interest in selling TripleClicks products would be to make up a catalog of products showing not only the price, but the sales commission as well. You could share how local and international sales could be generated through advertising. You could also show how moving a volume of products could result in some significant earnings.
Another possible approach would be to show your friends and relatives how they could operate an online store without having to handle the products. You could emphasize that each new customer becomes a customer for life, and this could generate significant residual income.
If they are interested in marketing a particular line of products internationally, and are not intimidated by shipping, it may also be possible for them to open up their own online store. That way they could sell their own TripleClicks products.

Which is better to do...sponsoring SFI affiliates...or referring TripleClicks members?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
I have focused totally on sponsoring SFI affiliates since I got into the business four months ago, and I am now a TL Silver, so that has certainly worked for me. Frankly it motivates me to have downline to work with, especially the active ones.
The other consideration I have is that I live off in the jungles outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. I haven't yet been able to order anything but electronic products (Gift Cards, S-Builder Co-Op, PSAs, and TCredits) over concern for shipping and actually getting the product.
That being said, one primary area of focus this next month for me is going to be establishing an ECA offering local Thai products through TripleClicks. I want to do this for two main reasons:
1) To teach myself how to market local products through TripleClicks
2) To learn how to get local businesses established as venders through TripleClicks
In fact, there is a third reason I want to do the two steps above. I want to be able to tell my downline exactly how to do that side of the business virtually anywhere in the world. and I won't be able to do that until I have done it myself.
Once I have a number of venders established in the TripleClicks system, you bet I will focus on sponsoring TripleClicks members as well as sponsoring new SFI Affiliates.

What are your top tricks for getting the most out of one's Genealogy?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
The genealogy gives me the pulse of my business. The very first thing I look for is who is online so that I can initiate a chat with them.
I usually deal with my movers through the movers tab before I get to the genealogy.
What I am looking for is anyone showing signs of recent activity. The genealogy will tell me if an affiliate has recently been active. I will check and see what kind of activity he or she has been doing by checking their VP ledger. If I can give them a hint or some sort of encouragement, I will.
If I see someone suddenly start up after a long absence, I will definitely engage them in conversation if I can, or send them an appropriate "Welcome Back" card.
If they are active, I will check where they are at, and how far they have to go to get to the next level. If I can give them a hint that I think might help, I will. I will certainly look to see what they are missing on their VP Ledger.
At least once a week I will send everyone on the team some kind of information about building the business. It might be in the form of a newsletter, or I will include some sort of article pertaining to the business.
Every week or so I will target some of the inactive affiliates that started building the business, but then went inactive. Genealogy will tell me which ones those are. I will send them additional information or maybe a story or two about people in the business.
Those are my tricks of the trade.

Which is better and why? Promoting SFI and TripleClicks locally and more personally...or globally via the Internet?

Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
Maybe my situation is a lot different than most people's. I live in a country that doesn't allow a foreigner to work without a work permit, and that is difficult to get. If I go out and pass out my business cards (like I would like to do), I might end up with a visit from an unfriendly immigration officer, and could even end up in jail!
So for me, I have to build my business internationally. There is no other way. That is no problem for me because I want an international business anyway. I have two effective options for building my business internationally. The first is via advertising on the web. The second is simply purchasing PSAs and working with them to help them get established. I have found the second method to work best for me, and any time I find a PSA who shows that they want to build this business, and then they make it to EA level or go on and get on Standing Order, I reward them with 25 PSAs. That immediately internationalizes their business and mine as well, and it pays dividends many times over.

How can I promote Eager Zebra games to non-SFI affiliates? How do I get them interested?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
The first step is playing the games myself. If I am not playing the games, how can I effectively promote them?
The games are what I call the fun side of the business. I include both the PriceBender Auction and the Guess the Price in that category as well. If they are at a distance, I will send them an electronic Triple Click gift card and suggest that it can be used for TCredits needed to play the games.
Of course I will tell them about some of the prizes I have won.
If they are into trivia, Knock-Out Trivia might be what they are going to be interested in.
One suggestion I have, however, is that you practice your approach with your inactive affiliates. I figure that is what they are there for! Most of those affiliates never got into the games, and if they did, they would more then likely still be active. They never discovered the fun in the business.
The Eager Zebra games are the serious side of having fun in the business. I don't know about others, but I play to win. I might tell them some of my winning strategies.
I will do everything I can to give them the idea that the games are both fun and profitable.

How important is it that your family embrace your SFI business...and what if they don't?
Charles McCormick, Aff (Thailand)

Is it important to have your family on your side when building an SFI business? Absolutely not! Is it important to have a great sponsor or co-sponsor. Absolutely not. This things are nice, but not essential.
What you need to build this business is the guts and determination to do this no matter what obstacle you face. If you don't have that, no amount of loving encouragement from your family or your sponsors will make a bit of difference. It has to come from within you, not from an exterior source.
When I started this business, my wife was the proverbial witch with rabies, denouncing this business as a scam, telling me it was either her or this business. I built it in spite of her. In eight days I was TL Bronze, back in the days before Fast Track. We went through incredibly hard times, times when we didn't have food to eat, times when the electricity was shut off because we couldn't pay the bill, times when we couldn't put gas in our car when it was empty. In the middle of that, social security abruptly cut of my retirement payments when that was our only source of income, and it took four months to get that straightened out. In spite of everything, I kept building the business.
He who won't be stopped can't be stopped. Now our financial situation has changed radically. What we went through empowered both of us, and fortified our resolve. Yes we are still together, and no she is not involved in the business, but she realized that I was going to do it with or without her. Through that, her respect for my strength and resolve has grown, and I don't hear any more negative comments about the business from her.
We both had to learn to respect and believe in each other, but far more important was for us to respect and believe in ourselves. That comes first and the other will follow.

To be successful in SFI, what attributes do you need the people on your team to have?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
First of all, to be successful in the SFI business, you need affiliates who are motivated to achieve financial freedom. Then you need people who have the patience to work persistently and consistently over a period of time ( 2 - 3 years) at building a business for themselves. You also need people who are willing to become customers for TripleClicks products. Additionally, you want people who are open to learning the skills necessary to build a big SFI business. Most of all, you need people who are communicative, and humble enough to ask for help when needed.

There are many actions in SFI for which you can earn VersaPoints. Which is the action you should recommend to your downline to focus on and why?
Affiliate since: 07/10/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
When an affiliate first joins SFI, I stress focusing on the Getting Started activities, especially the Fast Track requirements. My reasoning is simple. This is where the most points can be gained per action. Next comes the Launch Pad and Intermediate Actions to give them a solid base of understanding of the business.
The Daily Actions are critical once a person gets an understanding of the basics of the business. They provide a steady flow of VP as well as information about all aspects of the business. The Daily Actions are the cornerstone of the continuing education system for the SFI Business. Without their daily input, no one will succeed at building this business. Think of them as your essential multivitamins.
After the first month, when all the Getting Started and Intermediate Actions are completed, and they have earned some TCredits, I encourage them to focus on the Pricebender Auctions and the Eager Zebra games. There are lots of other ways to earn VP, and the focus shifts to them to help the affiliates supplement their standing order and make TL Bronze and higher.
