Not knowing the particulars concerning your situation makes it difficult to advise you. Basically one might suggest that you not do what you did the previous year. This would not be fair or accurate. You may have tons of inactive affiliates or perhaps none at all. You may also have invested thousands of dollars or just enough to make your grade. You and your up line may be the only ones to know, if they are active and engaged.
This past April was your anniversary. It is time to reevaluate all that you have done and redetermine your definition of success. Set goals you know you can reach, make success a habit. This month you earned the thirty day streak badge, strive for 60. Set a goal to become a Bronze Team Leader and invest a little more in building a team. Making Bronze is like being a Team Leader in training, you have to DO all there is to do as an executive affiliate; contribute to Eager Zebra games, invest in PriceBender Auctions, and put money in S-Builder each month. I know it sounds crazy, why throw more money at anything that does not pay you.
First, this is not a job. You have to do more than show up every day. Lots of employees do and get little done. You have to be the boss, the example, the one to set the pace. You have to do all those things you would want your star affiliate to do, invest in your business. Few are successful their first, second or third year. It's easy to quit but you will spend the rest of your life paying for it. It's like marriage; for better or for worse... Till death do us part. SFI Works because it follows a very basic formula, we profit from sales and those who succeed are dedicated to buying from their own store. This includes advertising and marketing aides.
S-Builder co-op is a slow road to take but builds momentum. I try to purchase as many as I can during the month. It took a full month before I saw the first PSA but now it's a few more each week. You enter each month for the advertising campaign starting the next month. The amazing thing is the results from that advertising campaign can last months, so results might began to over lap.
I set the standing order for the minimum, one 125 T-Credit pack each month. This made it more do-able. Each month I receive 1500 VP and an extra 100 VP just for having a Standing Order. If five of your affiliates are doing the same your cost is covered.
I invest in at least one S-Builder each month and try to buy 30 Gift Cards, both digital and physical cards. This brings in anther 300 VP, approximately. And 300 more if I need it by passing out the gift cards. This is recruiting for both PSAs and PRMs. Marketing takes time to learn and even more time to get results. I received a new TripleClicks member today from a traffic exchange I have been slack in a few months. Advertising should be a daily process of letting people know what you have to offer. Twitter is my main portal, traffic exchanges and mailers are also part of my marketing strategy. Most results come S-Builder but it's not my only plan. A second S-Builder unit puts me well over the 2000 VP sales / purchase limit we are allowed.
Signing in everyday regardless of the se mustaches has been my goal. I make sure I have access to the Internet at least once each day and complete the minimum, all the tabs and to-do list items, enter the Daily Grand and tweet new products and the WOW Auction from the previous day.
I lose the mark once in a while. I spend more than my budget and throw away t-credits. Past experience has thought me that excess seldom results in abundance. It always works better for me to stick to my plan and dray within my budget. Instead of beating myself up over it, I re-evaluate, re-set my objectives and start over the next day or month. Discipline is painful for me.
Eventually I will find others that see the potential I do. They will duplicate my efforts and each find their own workers. I have a handful of affiliates that show up like clock work but no one has committed to placing a standing order. I just keep setting my pace. My objective each month is to make Bronze a Team leader, I get more CSAs each month and at least two PSAs.
This past month I have participated in PriceBender auctions more than planned, played in more Trivia games then anticipated and fear not making my monthly standing order. Make your plan and do your best to stick to it. When you fail to reach your mark, pick yourself up and move on. Above all, hang in there...you will be glad you did.
