What's best to sell at TripleClicks? Cheap things or more expensive/more valuable items?

Since everyone has different choices, budgets and requirements, it is up to the ECA to list products that are in high demand. The ECA should list those products that will give customers value for their money. It will help you to get the repeated orders every month.
The products do not necessarily need to be considered in terms of cheapness or otherwise, but what is in high demand, is allowed on Tripleclicks, is legal (not contra-ban) and can easily be processed and delivered in time to customers after an order has been placed without wasting their time thereby reducing the trust on the ECA involved.
Find out what customers want. Thereafter, try and provide them with the best quality at an affordable cost so as to beat your competitors i.e other marketers. To round it up, provide valuable items at an affordable cost but the price should be placed in such a way that you gain or make some profit.

I have heard about Team Leaders with groups numbering in the tens of thousands! What do they do differently to build such a huge downline?

For Team Leaders with groups numbering in the tens of thousands! What they do differently to build such a huge downline is that they concerntrate mostly on recruiting PSAs, PRMs and even ECAs.
They spend most of their time in advertising their gateways to generate sign-ups. They purchase sign-ups either from the S-builder Coop or from ECAs. They also bid on PSAs and win in Pricebenders Auctions.
They never stop in the recruiting process alone. They devote their time to teaching their downline how to duplicate them and they also offer any support that may be required of them to their downline.
This encourages their downline to duplicate them and be successful just as they are and they also teach their downline to do same. The list keeps going as the generation of downline keeps growing. Before long, they have established a strong and active groups of affiliates in their downline who are ready to work together as a team for the good of all.

What is your advice to those who want to pursue this business but have limited time to invest into it?

My advice to those who want to pursue this business but have limited time to invest into it is in this quote which says, "There are only two options regarding commitment. You're either in or out. There's no such thing as a life in-between."
What I meant by the above quote is, if they are truly committed to their business, they should not take limited time as an excuse for their lack of commitment. We have 24 hours a day and they can at least spend an hour or two to login to their SFI homepage and review their daily, weekly and monthly todos.
They should also spend some time in sending weekly team mails to their downline, they should as well answer questions asked by their downline and provide adequate support to them if necessary so that they don't turn out to be an object of discouragement to them.
They should also spend some time in advertising to generate sign-ups. They should as well set up a Standing Order of 1500 if necessary. Setting up a Standing Order of S-builder Coop is an added advantage. They shouldn't forget to checkout the Pricebenders Auctions and try some bidding whether luck can shine on them.
Everything they do should be carefully planned. If they want to be spending an hour or two a day in SFI, they should make effective use of that time. Remember, "Failing to plan is planning to fail."

What do you do with affiliates who never do anything--despite your constant encouragement and offers of support?

Every leader once in a while, have cases of leading inactive followers. What differentiates him is the way he handles the inactive followers along side with the active followers.
Here in SFI, as a team leader you will encounter affiliates who never logs in at all to review their todos nor do anything at all. Don't allow the inactive ones to discourage you. Try and look at the bright side of it. Be an awesome sponsor to them whether they accept you or not. Someday, things will turn around for good.
Concerntrate on your active workers but don't leave the inactive ones behind. Carry them along with you. Who knows? Someday, they might wake up from their slumber and set to work and could even do more than those active ones thereby proving to you to all your sponsoring efforts was not in vain afterall.

What would you consider to be too much and unnecessary communication with your team?

What I would consider to be too much and unnecessary communication with your team is when you give them information that is outside the SFI Community or information they are already aware of. Giving them information about other programs that has nothing to do with SFI is unnecessary.
Giving them information that they are already aware of is too much. For example, sending to them Latest News Updates about SFI is too much. Instead, advise them to always review the Latest News Updates anytime they login to their homepage so as to get updated with the latest events and happenings here in SFI.
Never bombard them with daily team mails. At most, one team mail a week. In this team mail, gather all the information that will depict how they can build up their business here in SFI and let this information be in a simple and summarised form so they can easily read and understand the message you're sending across to them.

What should an affiliate do if their sponsor is non-responsive?

Since this is your business, I will advise you to do all it takes and all you can to make it successful. You do not have to wait on your Sponsor before you do something about it. SFI has lots of training materials that is easy to read and understand.
Keep reading and also set to work. Do not wait on anyone. You have the forum, the Ask_Sc Community, the A2A friends and your Upline team leaders. Feel free to contact them for assistance anytime you face some certain challenges.
If both your Sponsor and Co-Sponsor are non-responsive, do not feel discouraged. Rather put in all your resources (time and money) to grow your business and certainly you will surely find a silver lining at the end of the tunnel.

How do you get your affiliates to approach their SFI business realistically, like a real business, and not some get unrealistic rich quick scheme?
Betabasi Daniel, Aff (Nigeria)

This depends on the information you gave your affiliates that made them to join the business. Some people prefer painting the SFI business as a get-rich-quick scheme just to attract more signups to themselves not knowing the consequences that follows when the affiliates finds out that it is what they thought it would be.
Let them know that they need to work to earn the income they make. You can channel them to the exciting income streams that SFI has to offer. Tell them that just like in every business, that they need to invest both their time and money into the business to grow it.
Let them also exercise some patience and nurture their business until it grows to something big. As any honest business can not be succeessful overnight. Above all, lead them by example, always teach them what you have done and not what you are yet to do so as to have full knowledge of it which you can then impart to them.

How do you develop trust with your affiliates and get them to follow your leadership?

Affiliate since: 07/07/2021, Power Rank: 99999999
How to develop trust with your affiliates and get them to follow your leadership lies on the following factors.
1. Dedication: You must be dedicated to your business in SFI and also to your downline team members because by so doing you are setting a pace for them to follow.
2. Total Support: You must give all your affiliates the necessary support they need. This will make them feel they are not alone and that someone is always there to give them a helping hand when needed.
3. Honesty: Any affiliate that discovers that he/she has a trickster for a sponsor will have some difficulties in building his/her trust on such a person so you must be straight-forward in your dealings with your affiliates.
4. Be a role model: Being a role model matters a great deal when it comes to building trust in your affiliates. So let your actions speak for you.
If all these factors are considered, your affiliates will be be compelled to build their trust in you and look up to you as their sponsor.
