There are many reasons why this occurs. Some are obvious.
Some people have more money to invest while there are many who come on board that have very little to spare.
Some start out boldly and dive right in, while others might want to try it out a little more slowly at first because they may be suspicious of the offer.
Some might find it easier to understand how to do what needs to be done faster than others because of various reasons.
Some might have awesome sponsors who will be willing to support them from the beginning in various ways.
But, I think that many just may have had experience with other opportunities before they came on board. They are already established in internet marketing and might be promoting other things that are complimentary to the SFI offer and it was rather easy to add SFI into their presentation.
They may already know what a capture page is and have been using one for awhile. They might have a library of ebooks that they can offer free to those who who visit their capture page So, they may already have a very responsive mailing list of people who they've developed a relationship with.
They might already have an established website that they've been updating on a regular basis for awhile that have people visiting daily or weekly.
They might have already searched out the best safelists and tools that are offered online.
There are some things that we just can do nothing about. We can't get a sponsor to suddenly be interested in us if he hasn't been spending the time necessary to develop good sponsorship skills. We can't make a money tree magically pop up in our backyard filled with fresh hundred dollar bills. And, I don't believe anyone can say that caution is a bad thing.
But the last thing I listed we can do something about.
We can learn how to use capture pages and start building our own mailing list. We can put together a weekly newsletter and use it to develop trust with the subscribers of that list. We can search and find free or inexpensive ebooks that offer free giveaway rights to offer the subscribers that come to that capture page in exchange for permission to send our promotions to them.
We can start investigating the many tools that are offered online for the internet marketer. These would include safelists, autoresponders, free plr directories, classified ad sites, forums, social networking sites aimed towards network marketing, ect.
And we could plan and build our own website that not only offers the SFI opportunity, but also lists the best of those tools that we found for our visitors, who may or may not wish to become a member of our downline.
And, we could also search out those who have become successful quickly and asked for their advice.
It isn't the starting point that is important, it's where we finish at that is. As long as we are willing to learn and do the work that is needed we can cross that finish line also.
