I'm totally new to blogging. How do I use my blog to best promote SFI?

All of the answers to your question that I have read so far are really good.
Another approach you could take would be that of a 2 or 3 times a week diary of what you are doing with SFI. This way you could talk about TripleClicks, Pricebenders Auctions, ECA, the opportunity to sell your used items, the "games" at TripleClicks, and also the SFI opportunity. Often if people read about what you are doing and your results they will be interested.
This way you can also use different links according to the topic you are discussing.
Good luck and see you at the top!

I would think that the number 1 option would be TripleClicks Payoneer Master Card. Other than that, I don't know if you have PayPal, but also Gery has included BitCoin as an option which helps our African affiliates and which would help you as well.
I know this answer is short, but this is really about it. I guess you could always get a check from SFI but that may take a while to get there.
How do you motivate your team to get and stay active with SFI?

I always send individual messages to my list of movers.
I post in Streaming a minimum of every three days. I also send Team Mail at least three times a week. Sometimes I will refer my team to a video, sometimes I will tell them to be sure to read the Alerts, and I will copy something that I want to be sure that they see if they are not online every day.
It is important to realize that in other parts of the world (I live in the US) there are people whose only internet access is at an internet cafe and they may not be able to be online every day, but I still encourage them and that is why I will copy something that I think is important for them to read.
I hope that they will be motivated, but you can lead the horse to the water but you can't make him drink. Therefore, I just keep trying to encourage them and be positive.

What was the best advice you ever got from your upline and how has it helped you?

The best advice is to join the co-op. I am in the S-builder Co-op but was not able to get in the Team Co-op this month, but I will next month. Everything you do can help to grow your business.
I also watched a You-Tube video that was from today's top enroller on how to make $3000 per month by the 6th month and that was pretty good advice, too.
What qualities does one need to have or to develop to be successful with SFI?

You need to be able to work the system and duplicate. You need to be able to teach this duplication to your downline,
You must have patience and realize that it takes time to build a business. This is not one of those get rich quick schemes. Any business worth its salt takes time to build and a lot of effort, so you have to be prepared for that. Just because this is an internet business that doesn't mean that you don't have to work. As with any brick and mortar business you have to advertise and take care of your customers. If you work in an office you have to take care of your team and it is the same here if you are not an ECA. You have team members that may need help and you need to take care of them.
The main thing is that you have to work the business every fday if you want to make money. If you had a store do you think you would make money if you were only open one day a week or one day a month? No! You would have to work every day. Of course, you may take off for religious reasons or just to have one or two days off per week, but you need to set your time to work and treat this business as if it is a job that you are going to and reporting to a boss.
That is how to become successful with SFI.

As an ECA, how can I get SFI affiliates to promote my products and services?

I don't promote specific products or services, but if I have bought from the ECA and had good service I will add them as an ECA so that they will be listed on my TConnect page. I may even make a comment with some of the types of products available.
If you are pleased with the products then you are a satisfied customer, so any mention of the ECA may have people look. I can buy Avon products from Avon representatives locally, but the service that I have had from an ECA at TripleClicks is much better than what I have gotten from the local reps, so I prefer to order from her. She even sent me some catalogs without having to ask. And Avon is not all that she sells. She has given me good service and gotten me things within a few days, so I appreciate her and list her variety of products without listing anything specific.
We give reviews at TripleClicks, but that is not the same.

What's more important--the initial contact with a prospect or the follow-up, and why?

I think both are equally important. You don't know if your initial contact will convince the prospect or not. You want to give them the best information that you can to pique their interest and then answer whatever questions they have to try to get them interested enough to sign up. You must also let them know that this is not a get rich quick scheme so that they will not give up after a couple of days.
Sometimes people want to think things over. This is when they may come back to ask more questions, and thus this would be follow-up. The questions that they have will help you to know their interest level and perhaps you will know if they will stick around or not. This is also a time to refer your prospects to YouTube videos or your blog or whatever you feel may help to convince them that SFI is definitely worth it.
This is my opinion, but I hope that it helps.

As a new Team Leader, how do you know when you have enough PSA's to reassign to your downline?
Kathryn Goering, Aff (Georgia, US)

I think it depends on who they are and who the other members of your team are.
I had three PSAs. One of them was my daughter, who is married and lives in her own home. Another one was someone she dated in high school who she and her husband are still friends with. The ex-boyfriend signed up under me but was not doing anything and wouldn't reach out to me. I thought that maybe she could work with him better since they were still friends and knew each other pretty well. So I reassigned him to her.
If you think that someone on your team may be better at working with another person, I don't think it matters how many you have, as long as you have at least one. You both get experience working with a team that is not made up of only CSAs.
I guess a lot of people would say that you are giving up your income if you do that, but you have to see if you have someone who is doing a great job and may be ready for a PSA. After all, we want our team to do well so that they won't quit and then we also do well.
In the end, it is up to each of us and the circumstances as we see them to decide when you have enough or even just when to reassign someone. Perhaps it is a matter of placing someone with another person who speaks the same language or has the same types of obstacles.

What is the best way to learn (after SFI training) about advertising using the internet when you are a complete novice?

In the Internet Income Course, check out lessons 23 and 24. There is good information there on free advertising strategies. Also the IAHBE has a section on Online Resources, which lists all kinds of resources to learn about advertising.
If you are on Facebook, and you should be, then you can advertise your sites, but the sfi4 site comes up as spammy, so it is best to use the new link or just advertise TripleClicks and the Pricebenders Auction. Or you can advertise a specific product or group of products, such as health supplements.
Give out TripleClicks Gift Certificates and/or X-Cards. Print up fliers and post them at the laundromat, grocery store, library or anywhere there is a bulletin board where you can post things.
Also, when people ask what you do, tell them about SFI and offer to show them the site and walk them through it.

What's the best way to approach a new PSA with regards to discussing their goals with them?

So far my PSAs don't respond, but with the new daily action with goals, I think this is a good way to get started.
Encouraging them and offering our help with their goals is something that should help to get them involved with the business. We need to recognize that many people join SFI because it is free and they think that they don't have to do anything to make money or that they will make money fast with this business. We need to encourage them that they will make money but it may not be as fast as they think because this is not a get rich quick scheme. That is the reason for setting goals and, with the new goals section, being accountable for what we are doing each day. If we haven't done something that day, we are allowed to take a day off every once in a while if we want. It is OUR business, so we can follow whatever schedule we want. But if we want to make something of this business we will work it every day at least long enough to do the daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
Each person has a different reason why they wanted to join and why they want to make money. They also have an idea of how much they want to make. If we can get them to talk about that and let us help them reach their goals, the business will grow for all of us.
