Is SFI good for students (18 or older)? Why or why not?

If you do a quick little search online, you may discover that there are some business owners who started their businesses as young as 14 years old. There are also many great companies started by students in dorm rooms. Therefore, I think it is a great idea for a student at 18 years or older to start their business with SFI and here is why:
1. Some may say that the typical student may not have money to make any purchases here but there is an alternative because as we may recall, buying isn't mandatory. This gives the student the perfect opportunity to perfect their selling skills and generate some income through sale of TripleClicks products.
2. Anyone can advertise online. By planning and devoting time to online methods whether free or low cost, as well as through warm marketing, income can be generated through duplication and sales. Remember there are times when this business can run on autopilot so as to allow the student to pay attention to their student activities.
3. It is never too early to build a college or retirement fund. A little effort now could see their efforts resulting in a substantial income stream throughout their 20s and through to retirement.
4. Depending on the student's course of study, much of the material being exposed to them such as marketing skills, management, online strategies and so on may prove very relevant and complimentary to all the training which SFI provides. Seems like a win win to me!
I think the most important aspect is planning because SFI is great at any age once you put a realistic plan in place.

Fellow Affiliates,
Giving up is the easiest thing in the world to do. But what does it accomplish? Absolutely nothing hence one would always be in the same place and same situation if not worse.
Most of us want something, need something or dream of something whether it may be a career path we always wanted to follow or a family structure, something you would like to buy but the price tag has too may zeros than are in your bank account.
To keep pushing forward, I stay focused on "the end game." Keep your eye on the prize. I constantly remind myself of this question, "why should others be successful and not me if the path to follow is the same?" I think of my other achievements personally and academically and none of them were achieved overnight. They took time, with many failures and many lessons learnt and to some degree still learning.
A pilot doesn't become one overnight, neither does a doctor or any other professional. The same principle applies here and we all must recognize and hold on to this concept because this business is riddled with many opportunities and in order to see the true lifetime benefits, we have to stay committed and keep pushing forward.
To your success!

What is the best way to set up SEO (search engine optimization) on my website, to promote SFI and TripleClicks?

This is yet another vital marketing action to take in order to improve the chances of getting your website noticed. Here are some ways to set up SEO on your website:
1. It is important to note that Search Engines only index tests. It is difficult for them to index images so in the design of your website, while it is important to have images in order to look attractive and enticing to visitors, be sure to add lots of texts of quality.
2. It may require a little bit of research but choose a good web hosting company. the popularity of it and reputation for having minimal spammers will work in your favour.
3. It is vital to choose relevant keywords and meta tags. This way, when visitors use them in searches, the likelihood of your website being shown as a top result will improve.
4. Have good content. Incorporate the indicated keywords in the various pages and if possible in titles too.
5. Manually submit your site to the relevant search engines and directories for indexing.
There should be constant attention being paid to the site and when new information becomes relevant, the necessary updates should be done. Through constant updating and paying attention to detail, you will improve your websites chances of being noticed by search engines.

Why is creating duplication in your SFI business important?

Hello reader,
DUPLICATION! What a sweet word this is in the SFI context. This is a word that can be used synonymously with the phrase "ripple effect."
Duplication is important because it is the difference between making a bit of money versus making BIG MONEY and I think most of us would rather make big money in order to create the financial freedom we desire.
Here at SFI, by teaching others to be as hardworking as yourself and encouraging them to do the same to members of their downline creates the opportunity to receive matching Versa Points if you are a Team Leader. This supplements all the other ways you can earn here and the monetary value can be quite significant. Who wouldn't want that? It goes a long way towards that BIG MONEY goal we have right? It is like a tree that just keeps growing and showing new branches ever so often.
Keep growing that duplication tree!

To promote my SFI business, how do I get listed on Google, Bing, and other popular search engines?
Alison Richards, Aff (Jamaica)

Getting listed on search engines such as Google or Bing is the easy part because they have manual website submission pages where anyone can list their website for indexing. However, if we really want to promote our SFI business effectively, we should not only want to get the site listed but we want the highest listing or ranking possible and one way to accomplish this is through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
There are some individuals that utilise the services of Google Maps and Google + Business as a means of promotion. This is from the Google site:
"Get your business on Google for free.
Your Google+ page connects you with customers, whether they’re looking for you on Search, Maps, Google+ or mobile devices. Best of all, it’s free. Really, we mean it."
Research is important because certain aspects such as keyword selections and relevant content are key in helping to get you noticed by these search engines thereby boosting your promoting results.

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?
Alison Richards, Aff (Jamaica)

Adding a personal touch is far superior to being just another Affiliate. When someone calls me by name, it means something. When they address a specific aspect of my live it makes me feel like someone is really paying attention to what is happening to me. Here at SFI, this is no different therefore it is absolutely worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs.
However, being worthwhile doesn't always mean it is practical. From time to time as reflected in our GROWTH tab, there are individuals who receive over 1000 or even 1500 or more new PSAs on any given day. Imagine how time-consuming it would be to send individual welcome letters in such instances.
My recommendation would be that if time permits, send those individual welcome letters. In cases where the volume of PSAs you receive at any given time doesn't allow you to go the individual route, then send out group mailings. Both are a means of contact and that is what is most important. If the PSA is truly interested in doing business, they will pay attention and read your mail.

How do you prevent people from preying on your downline and convincing them to join other programs?
Alison Richards, Aff (Jamaica)

One of the most unfortunate features of business on the internet is that along with attracting legitimate business people, it also attracts scammers, pretenders and individuals who do not wish to follow certain rules. Unfortunately, there is no way for you to keep people from trying to prey on your downline. This concept of cross-solicitation is disallowed here at SFI based on the Affiliate Agreement presented to everyone who joins here and any steps made to disregard this rule should be reported in order to protect the integrity of this program and all honest and hard-working Affiliates.
The best way to tackle this issue is to acknowledge and act on this next statement; you do not have a relationship with these unknown individuals....what you already have is a relationship with your downline. The aim should be to nurture and grow this relationship. Help them to appreciate what a beautiful opportunity SFI is and how to grow their business and income. Become an Awesome Sponsor and show them how to be the same. Communication is the key to building a solid network and if persons are happy and successful where they are, then it is harder for predators to be successful at luring them away.

What are the signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one?
Alison Richards, Aff (Jamaica)

Affiliate since: 02/12/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
You can never really be sure how far an affiliate will go or how good they will be however there are in fact some signs to look for to give you an indication of a promising affiliate.
1. Look at the affiliate's VP Ledger. Are they visiting daily and accumulating their daily points? Have they received a streak badge? This may be an indication of interest and attention being paid to the program.
2. Has this affiliate appeared in an Forum posts? This may again show that they are interested in getting feedback from others to help them be successful.
3. Have they been responding to their Sponsor's or Co-sponsor's messages? Have they been initiating contact themselves? These are signs of interest and you should always respond to show support and help this affiliate understand even more about this great opportunity.
4. Have they started to recruit? Some affiliates as they learn, start to recruit from their warm markets early. By now we should all know the power of building a strong downline so this is a great sign that they are taking their business seriously.
There are other indications however it should be noted that every affiliate has different life circumstances and while you may not see signs of activity from an affiliate in the initial stages, you should never give up on them because their circumstances may change months or a year from signing up and suddenly they become active and one of your rock stars!
Have a great day!
Regards.

How do I assure that duplication happens in those I sponsor?
Alison Richards, Aff (Jamaica)

I don't think we can ever be assured that duplication will happen in those we sponsor and the proof of this is in our genealogy where most are perhaps inactive and only a few are working towards their goals. They won't all duplicate; the key is to LEAD BY EXAMPLE then try to identify those who show serious interest, those who are need encouragement and help them understand the amazing potential earnings they can achieve through duplication. I like to call this process the 3 "C"s.
1. Communication- As Team Leaders, we must reach out to those we sponsor. Remember that it can seem confusing at the start so we need to get them off to a clear start towards understanding how they will achieve their goals. This is actually a continuous process throughout their growth and even success.
2. Classification- Even though this is not a perfect science, there are times when we can identify those that show genuine interest. For instance through accumulation of VP, ordering of W3 Kit or even just confirming registration is another good sign. This shows their interest in SFI and then you as their sponsor can offer more detailed tips to ensure they are on the right track to duplication.
3. Co-op Advertising- Feel free to give your PSA a nudge by including them in a a co-op you may be running. Having just a few extra PSAs coming their way can be an encouraging catalyst for their increased effort at duplication.
It is important to keep the lines of communication open so that those you sponsor will always feel supported and motivated to tap into SFIs gem....DUPLICATION!

How can you be an SFI Team Leader if you're not a born leader?
Alison Richards, Aff (Jamaica)

Affiliate since: 02/12/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
While it is true that some individuals posses what is referred to as born leadership abilities, there are others who achieve this through education.
Perhaps some of us can think back to a few classmates some may have described as precocious; they were perhaps the head of the class or exhibited some type of characteristic or quality that other kids wanted to emulate. On the other hand, there were the quiet ones that were virtually unknown. The reality is that some of these then "quiet unknown" kids are now leaders in their field and the way they achieved this is through education and perhaps having encouragement from others.
This concept applies to SFI as well. Look at the wealth of information that SFI makes available to us all. One of the recommendations is that new affiliates not be in a rush and take their time to learn all the aspects of this program. By doing this we are able to respond to questions, implement strategies and in essence lead our team effectively. Of course it never hurts to have someone who is in your corner offering encouragement and keeping you positive so that you can impart the same positivity to your team.
