What is the best way to learn (after SFI training) about advertising using the internet when you are a complete novice?

The best way to learn after SFI training is to put what you have learned into practice.
Become practical by taking action by doing the things you learn repeatedly until you begin to see them working in your favor. If a teacher teaches and no one learns the teacher has not yet taught.
If you are a learner and there is no evidence of what you have learned it will be difficult to convince anyone you have really learned, the only way to prove it is to put what you have learned into practice as a sign of duplicating what you have learned. If you cannot do that then you might need to revisit the lesson to learn again.

How much should an SFI affiliate spend on advertising each month?

An SFI Affiliate should only spend what he or she can afford on advertisement. How much one spends on advertisement does not guarantee best results if people do not want your offer. You must first determine the audience you want to reach then study the demographics before spending to place your ad.
Placing your ad in free advertising pays off sometimes. Your own blogs or website, shopping plazas, hair salons, and as many social media site as you may want to join, these places will do the job if you take the time to go there.
Depending on your goal you may spend as much as possible to get the result you are looking for, there is no limit on how much anyone can afford to spend promoting their business.

Do not give up on anyone, keep on encouraging them and try to find out what is their set back, if there isn't a language barrier and you play the role of a good coach there is the possibility they will respond when reality hits.

I have affiliates who are inactive. Is it a good idea or bad idea to reassign them to my active affiliates?

Until you are able to find out the reason for inactivity of the inactive affiliate chances are there will be very little anyone will be able to do to get him/her moving. From a business perspective if one has to put a rope around the neck of another person in business to pull them along,it could be very hazardous for the one pulling. In cases where you can't even get such individuals to communicate with you there is a serious problem that only that individual can make a decision to fix.
Nevertheless it is possible that the proper wording of a message may someday reach affiliate inactive, that wakes him up. Then, if SFI is not the solution for him/her there will still be no change. The inactive affiliate is the only one who will be able to activate himself. Reassignment should be done if you figure out the problem for inactivity, you are not able to handle it, but there is another affiliate in your group you know would best make the right contribution in working with the individual.Communicate the transition to both parties if possible so each will know what to expect, in so doing they both will meet on common ground.

Before you begin make sure you have enough T credits to fund the process. Get in at the beginning to become knowledgeable of how many participants are playing.
Decide how much you are going to spend to win the item you are after.
You must have the time to pay attention to the session while it lasts, or you set up the automatic bidding system with enough funds to win the item.
You stand a chance of winning when there are fewer players, watch for the repeated presence of the high bidder on the board and play against that individual to outbid him, if you focus on the game and you have enough credits in hand you could be the winner.
Time of day is also important to keep in mind, you could get lucky.
