What is the fastest way to build a team of affiliates in SFI?

The fastest way to build a team of affiliates is to advertise, advertise, ADVERTISE and don't stop advertising.
Seriously though, with your advertising, you may get hundreds of new signups into your team (depending on where you advertise). You can even get 100 signup tomorrow if you are willing to pay for guaranteed signups. But there is no guarantee that all these signups will be active.
Once you get your new signups, the trick is to find out if they are really interested in going into serious business for themselves or are just jumping here and there to make a quick buck.
Once you find that gem, you don't need hundreds in your team. You only need 5 active people in your downline. Once you have your five, any others that are active, you should reassign them to your downline to help them build their team. This way you are walking the talk of supporting your team and succeeding together. Teach your team to do the same thing.

How can I get my friends and family members interested in selling TripleClicks products?

Perhaps it is better if they start using TripleClicks products first it might be easier to promote it to others?
After all, if someone is convinced of something, like a good supplement, a good cleaning product that does the trick, good customer service, etc, the way the user promote something to others has a different ring to it than someone who promotes a generic product to external customers.
So perhaps you might want to buy the Natural All Purpose Cleaner and give them as a gift to your mom, grandma, aunts, etc? Or the Laundry Detergent. Or Dishwashing Gel?
Providing free samples is a legitimate marketing method and companies do them all the time. And the next time they asked you where to get some because their stock is running low, guide them to TripleClicks and show them how they could make money at the same time.

What should I be doing besides the daily actions on my To Do List to build a thriving SFI business?

Besides the daily action, the most important thing you must do is to build your team. And how do you do that?
1) Advertise SFI everywhere you can think of. Some people prefer online advertising, some people prefer offline. You can do a mixture of both.
2) Once you start getting people in your downline, you should start supporting them. This means welcoming them and letting them know that you are here to help them.
No 1 should be easier than no 2. I say easier because you can get hundreds of signups but not necessarily all those signups will be active no matter what you do to try and motivate and support them. That brings me to no 3)
3) Don't lose your own motivation, energy and drive. This is what will keep you going when the going gets tough and believe me it will get tough once in a while. You can't control other people, but you are your own master.

What is the best use for the MRP I earn?

The MRPs that you have collected can be used to buy anything from TripleClicks, depending on the MRP price of that item.
The question of which is the best actually would depend on the individual.
1) You can use it to collect VPs. This happens when you buy TCredits. If you buy any TC Direct item with MRPS, you still get the VPs attached to it. This won't happen if you buy from ECAs.
2) You can use it to test a service. Like traffic or PSAs from an ECA. You won't get VPs from this action (apart from reviewing the item later for 25 VPs) but if you're satisfied with the service, you can buy with cash later.
3) You can save up and rewards yourself for a goal that you have reached. Since each item in TripleClick has an MRP price, you can save up for the wonderful earring you saw from a certain ECA once you managed to build a team of 5 active PSAs (for example).
4) ......the possibilities are endless.....which ones you decide is up to you.

Should I or shouldn't I try to recruit people to become SFI affiliates when they are not English speakers/readers?

Affiliate since: 03/28/2011, Power Rank: 99999999
You should recruit people no matter what language they speak/read.
If they speak and read english, then it would be easier for them of course. They can be independent.
If they don't speak or read english, but they speak the same language as you do (like Malay for me), then you may need to guide them in the beginning. You would need to translate for them the most important steps. That means the steps needed to collect their daily VPs and the marketing aids for them to use to refer even more people. Then you may need to explain to them in your own language the basics of SFI so that they don't mistakenly pass the wrong message to their own downlines once they do recruit people.
If you don't speak their language at all, well, that is what a2a is for! Guide them on how to find a friend in a2a that speaks their language.
I agree that it is a bit of a hassle, so it is actually up to you. It is your business. Do you want to limit your income potential because you don't want to go through all the hassle?

What can WE do to make SFI more attractive to new affiliates (without relying on SFI management)?

I have a website which I use to explain everything about SFI. And how do I choose what to write about? I actually base my articles on the questions that I have received from my downline.
I had one person ask me about Standing Orders, so I have a page on that on my website. I also had one person ask me about the green line (E365) so I created a page specially for that. Then another on traffic exchanges. Although it is not exactly an SFI matter, helping your affiliate to find where to advertise (as a starting point of course, they can spread their wings from there) would be very helpful.
I try to use simple words because my team comes from different countries. I put pictures as guidance whenever there's a need to explain where to find certain stuff.
Also I put a page on my winnings from Eager Zebra together with an explanation about the games complete with pictures so that they will get excited too.
I feel that new affiliates are slow to start because they are overwhelmed. I hope this website would help overcome that information overload by giving it in simple terms.

Which is better and why? Promoting SFI and TripleClicks locally and more personally...or globally via the Internet?

I don't think either is better. It is something that you will need to do eventually, whether you prefer local and personal or whether you prefer going global.
So my advice would be to start with what you are comfortable with. Like me, I am very shy to start a conversation from scratch. So I use the internet for my promotion. But I know that I will have to do it locally too.
So I take my time and try a few things first just to get comfortable. Like placing flyers around the neighborhood. Leaving X-cards. Etc.
I would like to graduate to presenting at an a2a meeting one day. But I think I shall push that activity maybe to next year when I am more comfortable.

How do I come up with good content for my weekly newsletters to my team?

From your own experience.
You've read through the Launchpads, you've applied what you've learned, what are the outcome? You can talk about that in your weekly newsletters.
Or, you've bought something from TripleClicks, it arrived on time and in good condition, the ECA was helpful. Stress on the transfer buying. This is what you're doing.
Talk about your experience doing advertising. Talk about what works and what doesn't for you. Stress that even if it doesn't work for you, it might work for them.

If you were to start over with SFI, what would you do differently, knowing what you do now about this business?

I would start advertising and building my team earlier. You see, I was concentrating on the 1500 VPs every month not realising that I only have one income stream from that. After reading and understanding further I realise that you could also earn from matching VPs as well as the DCs and CSCs. I have also not fully explored the ECA programme which in my opinion is the best programme ever.
I understand now that it took time for me to read and understand hence I started kinda slow. But I am hoping to help my team understand faster so they will not get caught in the confusion. They might not bounce back from the confusion like I did.

With the new Team Leader qualification requirement and the new Signing Bonuses, how will this change your business strategies?

To me this definitely means that I have to step up my advertising for new PSAs.
In 2015 I have used ECAs as a source of my PSAs. I understand that the ECAs do not guarantee active affiliates. But so far none of the PSAs I bought are active. Obviously I keep on writing Teammails to them letting them know of all the new stuff being introduced in SFI as well as the new things in TripleClicks.
But for 2016, I intend to step up my advertising. And that means start to generate PSAs from my own advertising. I intend to use a lead generation website that would capture interested people's email (I hear that if they give you their email, then they are most probably more interested than most).
I intend to increase my budget for advertising. I have just calculated my whole advertising budget for 2015 and it turned out to be USD 141.63. That may seem small but with the exchange rate it is still big in local currency. But I intend to double this, but pick and choose where to invest it in. I have weeded out what is good and what is bad. Will continue using the good and stop using the bad.
The traffic exchanges that I am a free member of, I might upgrade in one or two of them so that I can free up my surfing time and use it to develop my new lead generation/autoresponder campaign.
The new Team Leader qualification will mean that I will lose my BTL come January. But I sure intend to get it back as soon as possible with my new advertising plan.
