It depends on what you mean by “success.” To my mind, that you have been in SFI for one year on its own is success. On that score alone, congratulations.

Having said that, let me say clearly that it is you alone who knows the reasons why you joined SFI and what the goals you have set for yourself are. These are the only parameters you can measure yourself against to determine success or failure and nothing else. Least of all, never measure yourself against any other affiliate even if that affiliate joined in your class. I do hope you know that you are in SFI business for yourself alone and nobody else.

The question then is have you measured your progress against your set goals before you concluded that you are not successful? If not, go back and do a proper evaluation of your progress in SFI to determine whether you are successful or not.

My sincere advice is that after this evaluation, even if you have not met some of your goals, you can find out exactly why that is. Thereafter, you can make amends, re-strategize and strive on. Success in SFI business is gradual but very sure. Dropping what does not work for you and doing more of what works for you is the way to go. That is what I am advising that you should do now.

SFI business is a daily and continuous business. Once you take time to learn the fundamentals, everything becomes routine and easier on daily basis. For me, I do the following daily without fail to promote my business.

1. Post the links of items I am promoting for sale at TripleClicks in my Social Media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others.
2. Check and review my advertising campaigns on Free ads and Paid ads.
3. Work on and post new articles on my blog and website.
4. Review and Revise my ads as necessary to increase performance.
5. Send out more E-cards and emails promoting my business.
6. Track and analyze my ad activities from my Hit Tracking results.
7. Read SFI daily tips and implement immediately those tips relating to promotion.
8. Find out what is new at the forum and Ask Sc as related to business promotion.
9. Follow-up prospects I have been working on.
10. Help my downline to do these same things.
11. Do any other activities which may crop up to promote my business but may not necessarily be routine.

As I like to say always, to get any new affiliates to do what you want them to do, just tell them your own story. That usually adds the human touch to persuasion. Just make sure they know the potentials of SFI business and that to get there they need patience, diligence, perseverance, consistence, enthusiasm and hope.

Nothing good ever comes easy. So it is in SFI. If your new affiliates have not studied the lessons at the LauchPad very well, get them to do so. Get them to take the personal story of SFI founder Mr. Gerry Carson which he told therein to heart. Tell them that in SFI, success is certain but it is always slow in coming.

Get them to think long-term as that is the very power in SFI. With residual income objective, you have to work hard today to earn in perpetuity. That is the beauty of SFI business. If your personal story is persuasive enough, together with the above facts made available to your new affiliates who are anxious to earn now, it is possible to get them to refocus on their business. The best way to help your PSAs to understand SFI is to be an excellent and outstanding sponsor yourself. If you are, you will ensure that your PSAs read and understand SFI basics and Launchpad lessons very thoroughly before they embark on any major business in SFI.

- After that, encourage your PSAs to ask you questions in relation to their SFI business. From the kind of questions they will be asking you, you can easily detect how much of the business they have mastered and how much help they further need from you.

- Encourage them to join A2A and to interact fully with the members.

- Encourage your PSAs to participate fully in the FORUMS as well as ASK SC.

- Make sure they know “SFI Rules of Success” and they are complying with the rules.

- Encourage them to communicate freely upline and downline as the need arises.

The first question that comes to mind here is to ask, exactly what is your approach? If that is known, the most logical thing to do is to request you to change your approach. In SFI business, we are always advised to discard what is not working for us and to do more of what works for us. That may look very simple but many affiliates do not do so that is largely why they remain stuck in a dead end alley for much too long.

As Zig Ziglar likes to say, “Successful people do not do different things, they do things differently.” That is why they are successful. All SFI affiliates do virtually the same things. But, it is only those affiliates who manage to do these things differently that get to succeed in the business.

To answer your question more directly, I will advise you to review and re-strategize on:

1. Your promotional methods.
2. The media you use.
3. Your approach to prospects.
4. What you promise/offer your prospects.
5. Methods of approach.
6. Who you approach.
7. How you approach them.
8. The tools you are using in your approach.
9. What you do and what you omit to do.
10. Your level of aggression/anxiety when prospecting.

To get favorable results from the above, just review the numerous promotional methods SFI recommends. Find out from experience what works for you and what doesn’t. Do more of what works and your situation will change for the better. Just remember, as one SFI Success Rule says, “Some will, some won’t, so what? Next?” What that means is that you should not be discouraged if you are not succeeding with recruiting new affiliates for now. It could be that you have not been lucky yet to meet good prospects. This is because it is only you who knows clearly what you want in your blog and exactly what you want to achieve by writing the blog.
