No, I don't think you can set your business on autopilot. You would really have to have a large team of active affiliates who are leaders in order to even try such a thing, but even then, you should be working at your business every day.

One of the Rules of Success states it perfectly: "Treat your business like a business." You certainly don't run your job on autopilot and decide that you will stay at home and not report to work. So you should really treat your business the same way and make sure that your affiliates know that you are there and help them to realize that they should not run their business on autopilot if they want to succeed.

I do not believe that you have to convince affiliates to set up a Standing Order. The first thing you should do is set one up yourself. Anything you want affiliates to do you should have done yourself. Just set an example.

If affiliates study the Launch Pad Lessons and find out about Standing Orders, they can ask you questions about it. If they go to TripleClicks and see that there are products eligible for Standing Order, they can ask you about this. You can write in your weekly communication with your team about the importance of the Standing Order. However, the decision still remains with the affiliates.

The only way you can find affiliates who are truly interested in SFI and who will stay with this business is to advertise and tell people about this business, as many people as possible, every day and in as many ways as possible. Since only five percent of all people really get involved in a business like SFI and very few of those who join ever really are patient and work at it, it seems reasonable that one should tell others about this with excitement and enthusiasm. Although you cannot know how a person will respond, the only thing you can do is try, without coercion, to attract people to this business and see where this takes you.

Tell the person you are talking to that TCredits are like tokens or currency, special currency, that you purchase at TripleClicks, to use for just about any purpose. You can sell items at the store by using them to post them, with photos. You can bid at the auctions with them. You can purchase items with them. You can download music. You can even give them to Personally Sponsored Affiliates or Personally Referred Members to use. They are fun to get and fun to use. You can even win them at auctions and other contests.

It may also be good to share that these TCredits make it much easier to purchase items, because you are not using credit or debit cards to purchase items. And by bidding at the auctions, if you join as an affiliate or a member, you gain MRP, or Member Rewards Points, which you can use to purchase more items or TCredits.

Although I am not a Platinum Team Leader yet, here's what I think is the best strategy for becoming one.

Begin by completing all your daily tasks on your To-Do List and gaining as many VP as possible, both from Action VP and Sales VP. The Launch Pad Lessons are a good way to start. Complete as many tasks on your VP Ledger as possible.

Sponsor affiliates. Sponsor ECAs, if possible.

Teach your affiliates to do what you are doing, that is, to duplicate. Teach them to use the tools already provided. You may want to place affiliates in your co-ops you have created. Place the ones who are working, both Personally Sponsored affiliates (PSAs) and Co-sponsored Affiliates (CSAs). Remember, all these affiliates will help to bring in income to you as they work hard in the business. In fact, you should also communicate with your entire team regularly and help everyone to duplicate, along with your team members you have sponsored.

As you progress, you will see that affiliates in your team who are the movers are the key to moving to Platinum Team Leader. You want your team members to reach that goal as well. Remember that you can reassign affiliates who are movers in your first generation to other hard workers and leverage your team and its performance. The key here is to have at least 5 EAs and have other Team Leaders in your first generation to build a solid framework.

The one thing you do not want to do is to rush into becoming a Platinum Team Leader or any other level without a good team. If you do rush into this, you won't have a strong team for support and you will lose your status. You want to, "load your wagon," as they say, and keep loading it. Remember that too many people want to do nothing or are not really committed and fall off. This is why advertising is so important in the entire SFI/TripleClicks framework.

It's not always easy to get the attention of those CSAs, just as it is not always easy to get the attention of PSAs. However, the same methods should be used for each group. Keep the lines of communication open and share information with all of your team each week. Congratulate those who are doing well, those who reach milestones. Encourage those who have not logged in for awhile. Just be there for everyone and work with the workers.

I would tell them that they may think they don't know many people, but if they were to write down a list of all the people they do know or any with whom they are acquainted, they will find that the list will grow substantially. I would also tell them that they can learn how to advertise and gain new friends through this business when they gain new customers and affiliates. It really doesn't matter how many people they know. What matters is that they are interested in having fun building a business and meeting new people along the way. No convincing is necessary. It takes time for proving that this system works. Show the person the business model. If the person joins, fine! If not, make a decision whether you will continue or not. Above all, if you do continue, let the income generated from this speak for itself. Do not coerce or force. just show, by your character and your success, that this works. That is really the only way you can get anyone to join, whether life partner or not. Isn't that really how Jesus lived and gave Himself and was given the highest place for all eternity? There are a number of ways to advertise to attract college students to SFI.

Gift cards are an excellent way to attract college students. Hand them out and tell them to go and bid on items at the auctions or play Eager Zebra Games.

Put up ads on bulletin boards in student centers or in cafes (just make sure you get permission from authorities). Hand out flyers in places where students meet. Tell them about a really wonderful business where they can earn some extra income to help pay off loans or pay for other student expenses.

People are skeptical about businesses that are online and network marketing businesses, whether online or offline.

However, this business is very different from any I have ever seen. I believe the only real way to show skeptics that this business is legitimate is to let them see it for themselves and do the research. Let them see how you are doing with this business over time. let them look at the TripleClicksstore and the business model. Don't try to give lengthy explanations. Just let the business speak for itself.

SFI spoke for itself in 2001 when I joined. It still speaks for itself today. How else can there be such growth and such a family of affiliates? How else can there be such a store as TripleClicks? How else can there be such a fair payment of commissions, fun times and hard work, all melding together into this model? How else can there be such an open-door policy with the Support staff and Gery Carson as well? The training and support and accessibility of this business by anyone, including those with disabilities, is just phenominal! If any person can show something that is more legitimate than this business or that is better, I would challenge him/her to show me.
