Since a co-op needs to be fueled by some type of advertising to bring in sign ups, I would suggest that if you are good at writing articles that catch people's eye, then you link your blog to your co-op.

If this doesn't bring in enough sign ups to cover your participants, then you have the option of using a second or more, co-ops that include the same people.

A blog's purpose is to catch attention and gain faithful readers for a purpose, whether it is to stroke your ego or as we use it, to gather new PSAs. The purpose of the co-op is to share our good fortune with our team, to dole out our new PSAs in a fair manner. We can be included in the co-op, and can stop it, or remove or add members as we wish.

If you are charging a fee per share of your co-op, you are not allowed to profit from it, so you would want to use paid advertising, either to advertise your blog or to advertise your gateway.

Take a good look at your team. Separate out the movers from the moderately actives and the in-actives. From the actives list, who are the ones you have established rapport with? These will be your leaders, even if some of them are several generations down.

Distribute through reassignment all of the rest of the active PSAs to these leaders. Remember that an affiliate can only be reassigned once, so if your PSA is in blue on your genealogy, you can not reassign him. Do this with great planning. Who should go with whom. Work to the fullest advantage. Grouping by countries or languages may be options.

Also decide if your should stack the reassignments one under the other, or to parallel assign, all becoming PSAs to the receiver. Build from the top and build from the bottom. Sometimes a strong base will coax an inactive sponsor into becoming active. I'm not saying to reassign someone to an inactive, but if you have a leader with an inactive sponsor, that sponsor may get excited.

This will bring duplication to your team as you teach your leaders, they will duplicate you. It also bring in time leveraging as you will only have the handful of leaders to maintain while they have their teams. And from this comes residual income.

After all, why earn a million if you don't have any time to spend it?

From the very first moment that you have contact with your new PSA, you must be on your toes. Do your first messages to him contain many words that are defined by SFI and found in its glossary? A new PSA may be turned off by your letter if he can not understand what it all means and at that point doesn't even know that there is a glossary. Do not forget to revise your welcome letters often as you grow and better understand SFI. This includes both the letter you send out on your private email and the letter that SFI sends out for you. You will find that letter at the bottom of his profile page when he first gets in.

Do not delay any of your messages to him, neither the welcome messages, the weekly group letters, not the answers to his questions.

Don't talk down to him, but also don't assume that he is understanding what he is reading. Assure him that you are the first place to go to when he has a question. This way you will know how he is doing and you can make sure that he is not asking someone else who may not understand it himself but who is very willing to offer his take on it.

Do not do his work for him and do not give him rewards for doing what he should be doing anyway. I'm not saying that you should not reward him for reaching a few milestones, but do not reward so often that he depends on your payouts as part of his income.

In the same line, do not give and keep giving money so he can make purchases and make his goals. Instead, teach him how to manage the money he already has or how to make some pocket change so that he can buy what he needs to buy from TripleClicks.

Always teach him to look for solutions instead of hiding under excuses. Many people have been battered in life so much that they fail to see any solutions. It is our job, even when we ourselves are under attack, to help our PSA to have hope in this world and to do all he can do to arrive at success.

As your group enlarges, you will need to use the NOTES section on his Profile page to keep track of what you said to him and when.

Avoid spending too much time on the sleepers, but keep mailing the group letters to them.

Do not sponsor so many people at the same time that you can not take care of them the way you need to do it.

When you are just beginning to start doing SFI , once you have belief in it's plan and system, you should set the goal of quickly becoming an EA and holding that position each month until you move up to BTL.

The quickest and easiest way, for many people, is to make a plan for earning a steady 1500+ VP and for providing some form of advertising. This will require spending money and you are wise to set a financial budget to do that. And then keep to that budget, don't go over and don't slack off.

A good financial budget is not full of minimums. Don't be stingy. Doing minimums will get you to a minimal success. If you want good success, then plan and budget for it.

As a beginner, you probably don't know much about advertising and don't have time at this point to set aside time to learn about it. You are studying the ways of SFI but you will still want to advertise. So set aside $24 for a Standing Order of a share of S Builder co-op and 280 VP. You will also want to have cards to pass around to people you meet. A $30 stack of Gift Cards will bring you 400 VP, and x-Cards cost about $4 plus shipping and give you 50 VP per stack.

You don't have to use them the month you get them, so it is best that you save some for the next month and so on. Each month order these except change the marketing aids until you have all of them, and enough to keep handing out.

To finish off your monthly budget, buy 100 pack of TCredits for $29 and 1200 VP.

This plan will give you an easy EA month after month. With your To Do List and the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tasks you will become very close to BTL. By saving back the Gift Cards and TCredits, you will have enough to become BTL without spending more money.

Why aim for an early BTL? You get a good handful of CSA that may start off an active team for you and there by cut down on your financial budget or allow you to redirect the available money.

While we want to be the one to do the training of our PSAs and CSAs, we certainly do not want them to depend on us so strongly that they fail if we get sick or go out of an area of internet coverage for a period of time.

Instead, we, as active sponsors, should aim our initial training at teaching them how to find their own answers, how to explore both SFI and TC web sites, how to best use the Forum, ASK SC, and the help desk including ticket writing.

This way instead of depending on us, they will learn that we are reliable to help them when they really need the help.

Questions, situations, and events pop up at any time, maybe years into an affiliates life at SFI. The sponsor should be available to help during these times. On the other hand the sponsor should never take the place of the PSA actually reading the training material and using his head.

Cold contact face-to-face is not for the faint hearted or those who are slow to answer. Instead of selecting a certain locale and then going and trying to recruit, one should be out and about and looking for people with whom to start a conversation. Not about SFI/TC but life, their life.

Just a few words a day, several times a week or month. Establish some familiarity and next thing you know, you gently turned a cold contact warm. You now know what his hot buttons are. Fit his needs and wants to what SFI has to offer.

Invite him to sit down with some coffee and talk about the possibilities.

Shopping malls and retail districts work well for warming contacts. also gas stations and any where you can stop by while in the area and not look as if you are on a hunt.

If you are a new affiliate and you find that you are not getting any response from your sponsor, you must know one thing first.

That is, not all affiliates are active and there are several reasons for that.

1)An affiliate is encouraged to begin advertising and telling about SFI before they have read all of the material, therefore some sponsors may be reluctant to offer to help because he feels unsure of himself or just plain does not know what to do. Yes, there are so many people looking for this kind of business that if your advertisement is interesting and draws people, you will get sign ups, sometimes before you know what you are doing.

2) Some affiliates sign up and get started and then for personal reasons, they cease working, but their S Builder may work for 4 months after they stop.

3) Some were only tire kickers and just nibbled at the opportunity without taking a big taste and went on to something else before they got any results back from their sampling. They didn't believe they had found what they were looking for.

So you first must take the advice of the web site and read your welcome page that tells you to begin at the grey START button and then follow the instructions there. But if you are reading this, you are already past that.

We have several substitutes for a sponsor. There is the rest of the up line.They have an interest in your success and should be the first ones you go to for help after your sponsor fails you. Some up line have very large groups and want to see that you are serious about building your business before they will take time to answer you. So log in every day and do your Daily's and Weekly's and progress in your LaunchPad and To Do List and your up line should take notice. But remember or know this: only Generation 1 PSAs and CSAs show up on his Movers List. So tell him in your letter that you have a track record.

SFI provides you a Co-Sponsor to help you when your up line fails you. He is not toi act as your sponsor, but to be like a big brother or sister to answer questions and guide and encourage you.

The Forum and the a2a group will provide you will so much information and answers that you can succeed without ever having an active sponsor. There is no way you can put that blame on any of your up line if they don't help you. You are responsible to find and can find the answers you need.

That takes care of only part of what you should do if you get not response from your sponsor. That part benefits you the most. It determines whether you will have enough determination to succeed or if you will crumple at the first hardship. You can be the one to live happily ever after.

The next thing you can do in response to an unresponsive sponsor, is to "Sponsor" him. Write to him each week on your personal email as SFI only goes downward unless you are replying to an email. want to tell him of the amazing things that you are learning in the To Do List, what activities excite you, etc. Get him excited and beginning to red the materials. Sometimes that's all it takes to give a person the courage and incentive to begin the business.

You don't need a sponsor, but it's a whole lot more fun to have a partner who will help you get answers. Remember that we all have different talents and that each of us becomes important when we are in a team. As he does his To Do List, he will step into his role of leadership an be knowledgeable enough to properly lead his and your team.

And one more thing. Never talk down about your sponsor anywhere that they might read it. The Stream, a2a communications, the Forum, or ASK SC. When he becomes active you do not want it to hamper his success personally or with his and your present and future down line.

First of all, not all inactive affiliates are lazy or unmotivated. And Not all lazy and unmotivated affiliates are completely inactive. When an affiliate refuses to respond to our communications, it is impossible to know why he is not progressing as expected.

In addition to the regular weekly letters to the team, I will also address those with less than , say, 1000 VP, sometimes less. I break this group into 3 groups, those who have never logged-in and have no VP and those who have VP but have gone inactive, and those who periodically or repeatedly earn less than 1500 VP each month.

The first group consists of those who signed up for other reasons and do not intend to ever take a look. It also includes some who are lazy and unmotivated. And it includes some who do not have the time right now to work SFI but who might later on.

The second group contains some who take a look, do some of the To Do List and decide there is just too much to do. Some of these will not understand what to do, and may not have read the letter from their sponsor telling them that help is near. There are also lazy and unmotivated people in this group. There is also the doubters, both in themselves and in the honesty of SFI.

The third group, though they are more persistent in working SFI, have not seen the big picture yet. And therefore may need more motivation.

The thing is to motivate each group in a slightly different way. The first group probably have not been motivated by much in their whole life. We know that the promise of more money is why they signed up. We must enlarge that idea by explaining the Compensation Plan in ways that will spark their interests. Lazy and unmotivated people do not usually have in goals in life. Challenge them to set one goal and reach it. Then increase the number of goals. Offer incentives that relate to the business.

The second and third group have not seen the big picture, yet. Show it to them. This includes the Comp Plan, but goes beyond that. Talk about duplication and how it affects time leveraging and residual income. Explain what they are and how they will affect his life style. This should motivate them.

The third group needs a motivational boost, also. They are facing difficult times to reach their goals. This is also a good time to discuss ways to come up with money to buy something to make up their difference in VP.

This is not a lateral promotion because there was much more effort in searching out was to earn that EA@ as opposed to the road map that your To Do Map provides.

For the third month you must make real decisions and set several goals in order to reach a third month success. Will you go BTL, sponsor PSAs, buy CSAs, start an ECA or refer ECAs? The time to make these choices is before the end of the previous month.

We have two basic ways to begin our new months with success in mind.

We can choose the slow, even paced collection of vp. About 20 vp each day get us an extra set of draws at the Daily Grand drawing. That's doing the Daily's and then earning 10 more vp by doing one more activity, like a review, a rating, a mailer, etc. In return we eventually get to the end of the month with our goal status, if low enough, and we've increased our chance at wining the Daily Grand. Our sponsors can watch our ledger and see us near our goal, but he has to wait to the end of our climb before he can safely rely on that 100, 150, or 200 etc. VP for leadership.

Our other option is to have our 2000 vp Standing Order come due on the first or second of the month, earn our EA2 the first day, and then work the rest of the month earning BTL. We have the whole month to refer ECAs, help our PSAs and CSAs, sponsor more, get more ads in and in general, do what can be done to advance. And our sponsor will know that h3e has secured his leadership vp for the month.

If we only aim for the top of the mountain, we will never reach the moon.

The use of your 24 hours each day is purely optional past the contracted hours for you JOB.
Most people keep very busy by choice and no longer have what we used to call, leisure time.
When a person begins to think about adding on another activity, he also must think about when he can fit it in. And that leads to this question.

It is important to show him what SFI/TC can do for him and what he needs to do to achieve that. Since we already know how much time it takes ourselves to do it, we can help him budget in his mind about when he can fit it in. I watch absolutely no television. I can't imagine spending even one hour of my day watching it. But most people are loath to give up that time.

I thought that I was busy when I came to SFI but I became eager to do the work anyway and did give up activities of lesser importance.

Just like not counting the purchases from TC of items that you were going to buy anyway, like gifts, sundries, as business expenses or SFI investments, I found that I needed to be careful to designate to SFI only those internet activities that really count towards building the business as business time. For example, if I am on the computer for three hours, I can not count the time spent reading my personal email, shopping for a veterinarian, or even playing a game while waiting for my computer to refresh an SFI page.

The time spent for many on the computer is much more than the time necessary to keep up an SFI business. Help him to locate time wasters in his daily life on the computer, during lunch, and at home.

If he has a wife, he might also approach this business as a partnership and divvy up the chores, like having her do all the advertising and shopping, and he takes care of their PSAs. Giving her an opportunity to participate will give them something to talk about and allow for some family time to be spent working the business without ignoring the spouse.
