Which is most effective for advertising SFI...a regular hosted website or a blog about SFI?

If you enjoy blogging, have a chosen niche with knowledge about that niche, a hosted blog can be effective. Blogs are simple to set up and easy to maintain.
A website is of greater value when completed, it is like your business property. A website gives you more credibility as you brand yourself.
My advice is for you to go for a website with a blog, most sitebuilders have a blogging feature so you get the best of both a website and a blog.
Your website would have several pages such as:
-Home
-Contact
-Blog
-Splash
You post to your blog regularly. Advertise and promote the blog page as your blog. You can share each post to social network while promoting your site.
On each page you can advertise SFI in various ways. You can promote a splash page or your Home page.
You can start with a free website. When you have set up you can then proceed to upgrade to a paid hosting with your own domain.
You can also start with paid hosting and purchase a domain name.
Hope this helps.

Should I promote participation in Pricebenders to my team? If so, for what reason(s)?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
The answer is: Yes! Absolutley.
If your team members succeed you will succeed , if your team grows your business will grow.
When you bid at Pricebenders you not only have the chance to purchase items at greatly reduced prices, but you are able to build a business by acquiring VersaPoints(VP).
To get a good income you need to maintain a number of active team members who are advancing up the ladder as team leaders themselves.
Your team members require both Action VersaPoints and Sales VersaPoints to maintain positions as team leaders. By participating at Pricebenders they will acquire both. They will acquire sales points by purchasing TCredits and action points for bidding. By promoting Pricebenders to them you are teaching them ways to get their action and sales points. You are showing them a way to use the resources to earn and become team leaders,
They will win auctions and benefit by getting items at greatly reduced prices. This is an incentive; in itself, to remain active.

Keep your leadership page updated and use all the sections provided.
*Greeting
*Blog
*Recognition
*Rewards/incentives
*Recommend
*My Best Tip
Use the sections to share positive information that would keep them interested in you and SFI.
Use inspirational quotes.
Give useful tips for their success.
Use the recognition page to recognize your downline members achievements. Share experiences that would have a positive effect on the rest of the team. Write about their success stories.
Write about your own experiences and success at SFI.
Include any rewards, incentives or contests that you are offering.
BLOG
Let the blog be an educational one to guide and direct them.
Write blog posts on various SFI/TripleClicks topics, for example you can write about:
-VersaPoints
-The To-Do-List
-The contests
-Duplication
These are just a few
-Set up a list of links to the main pages at SFI, this is especially helpful to new affiliates.
-Share your knowledge with them what worked for you could work for them.

How do you get your affiliates to become SERIOUS business builders in SFI?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

It depends on their level of motivation. if they are motivated you will know by their activities since sign up. You can reward them for a good job and motivate them to do better if they are not motivated
You cannot force them to do anything unless they are motivated or because it is what they want to pursue in the first place.
Get to know what their goals are. If it is to build a business, show them the way. It is important that serious business people are prepared to invest time and money. Guide them so that they are able to invest time and money wisely.
-Be sure they know about the getting started actions and how to the Fast Track their way up the ladder.
-Offer your help and be ready to help.
-Be a good sponsor.
-Respond promptly
-Show them where to find business building tools
Lead by example, it will be easier if you are successful as a business person at SFI
- Give them a share in a Co-op advertising to help them build a team of affiliates.
-Keep your leadership page up-to-date and keep the lines of communication open between you.

When a person joins SFI, what things are the most important for him or her to do?

From Day 1 all affiliates must get involved in what is going to grow and succeed. Since there is a lot of information and pages to cover; however, it is a good idea that they focus on certain actions to prevent information overload and quitting too soon.
For a starting affiliate:
In the first few days
-Complete his registration
-Set his goals
-Complete his profile & Upload a photo
-Take advantage of the Fast Track
-Send his sponsor a commitment message
-Whitelist SFI and sponsor's email addresses
Show up for work on Day 1 and orientate him/herself to the material and links on the homepage. Knowing this material will be the guide to their daily routine.
Sign in every day.
Get to know:
-Who his sponsor is and how to contact his sponsor
-How to acquire VersaPoints
-The sources of help available
Read:
-Launchpads Lessons
-Rules of Success

Why do so many affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
I will start with myself and what could have stopped me when I signed up.
The person is pursuing other opportunities at the time and SFI seems too complicated. Too much stuff to navigate while another company has much less. For someone who cannot communicate in English this could be a "Skip This One."
What is not known at this time is that there is a lot to navigate because there is a lot of opportunities and resources to earn.
Other reasons:
-Not interested in affiliate marketing, thought it was something else.
-Don't understand the concept, the points system and how money can be made. If 1VP was replaced by $0.01 we may see more active people.
-Too much computer work involved
-Lack of support from family and friends.

In what creative ways are you planning to use the new JMT Gateway?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
Firstly I am not planning on using on its own where SFI links are banned. Secondly since it is a new gateway there are many possibilities not yet discovered, so it is still early to get the best answers.
I plan to hook it up to my custom domain name and use it wherever I advertise my other gateways, in FREE or PAID advertising.
Because it is unique I would:
1-Use it as testimonials on my website or blog, people love testimonials to help with their decision
2-Use it for branding myself in biographies, place it wherever you are asked to write a biography of yourself.
Other ways:
-I may also do a blog post on it.
-Use it with email advertising
-I could make a nice catchy splash page with the custom domain name.
-Advertise it wherever I advertise the FREE or invitation gateways.
-Make it a separate page on a website, redirect the page to the JMT URL.
-I would send it as an email to all my inactive PSA's and CSA's

Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
It is not advised to bribe them, No!. This means you wouldn't be rewarding inactive, lazy affiliates or those with no time for SFI. You reach out to those ones with motivating words through newsletters and eCards.
You will give your gift certificates and TCredits to reward those who are working hard towards their goals or when they reach a milestone by being active.
How can you be an SFI Team Leader if you're not a born leader?

How can you be an SFI team leader if you are not a born leader?
My answer is based on how I interpret your question.
A 'Born Leader' is a term used to describe certain types of leaders. Persons who have a natural ability to take the lead while others naturally follow them. These leaders become innovators in the leadership world; those who are guided by them become successful and learn be good leaders themselves.
Unfortunately, these leaders can be found elsewhere and not at SFI.
There are many good SFI sponsors who are doing a great job as leaders. They have acquired and applied certain leadership skills either from previous positions or from SFI. It is possible for anyone to become such a leader at SFI. Some will have to learn more than others.
Keeping on learning and brainstorming. Use the tools and resources to be a good leader.
