TripleClicks is the warehouse that SFI uses for its Independent marketers. TripleClicks has over 1 ½ million members and sells products in 196 different countries.

When SFI marketers sell the products and services from TripleClicks they will earn commissions. The more products sold or used by your personal team and customers the more commissions you will earn.

Have you ever gone somewhere and heard some news being talked about and you are the last person to know what has been going on? Ugly feeling isn’t it?

SFI and TripleClicks are a dynamic company that is changing weekly and sometimes daily. Those changes no matter how subtle they are will in time, affect your business building activities.

One of the things to remember is that we are building a business that is based on duplicating what you, their sponsor, is doing. If you are passing down outdated information your entire team could be affected by it – if they are – who will be in the hot seat? Of course it would be the person who shared information that was no longer usable.

Sometime you need to study the threads in the forum that are commenting about a change for the better, thinking that it just happened only to be told by those who comment on the thread that change was in affect over a month ago. This happens a lot more than you may think.

Why does this happen? – Good question – Glad you asked. This happens mainly because affiliates are not keeping up with the latest news being broad-casted by TripleClicks and SFI. One thing I do know and that is SFI and TripleClicks is constantly providing its members and affiliates with every change that takes place in the company, procedures, products, marketing plan, and all other operations within the corporation.

It can be difficult to market your ECA products to your down-line or anywhere for that matter.

First you will have to show your down-line how your products can benefit them either the product itself or the VP earned and the commissions earned. A lot of different factors determine whether or not someone will purchase your products.

In offering your ECA products to your down-line comes across as a sales pitch to make money from your down-line then they may never shop in your ECA.

At this present time I have 2 different up-line sponsors that have ECA stores. I have been in SFI for 2 and ½ years and I have never bought anything from my up-line stores. The reason is they just do not have any products that I can use at this time. If they had something I could use then I would purchase from them before any other ECA.

Your ECA is within TripleClicks which is a global platform, if I were you I would be thinking of how to make my products attractive to the global platform; with the world as your platform you needn’t be bothering your down-line.

If you are one of those “good” sponsors (awesome sponsor) that constantly are helping your down-line you will have no trouble in them coming to your ECA – as a matter of fact they would be waiting in line to be the first customer to your ECA.

So my suggestion to you would be to not be so focused on selling to your small market comprising of your down-line but commit to focusing on the global market issues.

It is necessary for all Team Leaders to learn the secrets to creating momentum and maintaining it within their groups.

In reality there really are no secrets to building momentum with your teammates. What you must understand is that not everyone will see what you are doing is any benefit to them. That is sad but it is the truth. In creating momentum we need to work with those who are motivated. The problem is what motivates one person will not necessarily novitiate another.

This is where I believe a few Team Leaders (including me) are making some mistakes. That is when the Leader is looking at their entire team and trying to decide on what kind of incentive or award can be offered to entice them into joining forces with the Leader so the momentum builds or continues.

To maintain momentum means that there is somewhat of a momentum activity already present. And that of course would have to be the Leader. This means that you simply must be the example to follow.

The ones you are concerned with would be your workers – “work with the workers.” Share with your workers the team plans you have in mind – share with them the desires, dreams and goals that you have for your team.

The momentum will build as soon as you personally take action. “momentum” in its self is the action that continues when the force that created the momentum has stopped for a short period of time.

When you see your actions being duplicated by your working affiliates the momentum has begun. To keep it going you need to send messages to your team members on the excited things your workers are accomplishing.

Keep rewarding the workers for a job well done and keep posting the news about each worker to your entire team this will cause some “sluffers” to wake up and want to join the momentum force. That’s when the “snow-ball” effect kicks in.

This momentum force will need to be fed every day with new excited news about someone, other than yourself, accomplishing milestones. Do not worry about to many post or messages to your team. At a time like this the more excited news that is posted the greater the force of the momentum gets.

After joining SFI and learned enough to start enrolling new affiliates my first concern was, how am I going to be able to give support to my new affiliates? I know my communication shills are not that impressive. I spell and miss-use words so bad that even my computer can’t figure out what I am trying to say.

What has been amazing to me is that my communication skill level did not matter at all. What really matters is that I was willing to find the necessary information to pass down to my new affiliates to fulfill their questions.

With that being said; I can say that your communication skills will not matter very much if you are truly trying to lead and direct your team.

In your home business with SFI and TripleClicks you will find out that there are a lot of things that you need to share with your down-line, up-line and A2A friends. Your communication skills will improve as you continue to share your knowledge with everyone you are associated with.

You will find that the heart of your success in SFI and TripleClicks will not hinge on how good you are able to communicate. Success comes into focus on how well you build relationships with your teammates.

When you sit down with your friends do you worry about how your friends will understand you with your communication skills so low? NO – you enjoy their company and your communication skills never enter the conversation. Do the same thing with your SFI teammates, enjoy the relationship and be yourself.

Am I saying not to better your communication level? NO - I personally keep a “word list” with definitions added so I can learn how to better my communication skills. I also learned that the more I read the better I transmit my ideas through the use of my language.

The concern for your teammates shows in the question you have asked – and that my friend will take you to the pinnacle (The extreme top) of success.

In all the different marketing programs that I have been in SFI is the only one where the down-line affiliates are allowed to rate their sponsors. This rating of sponsors plays an important role in determining the Leadership position for that sponsor.

If you have 5 PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) who are rating your performance as a sponsor you will need to receive an average of no less than 3 stars. If you receive a lower rating then you cannot become a Team Leader.

Before rating your sponsor take the time to go to their Leadership page – are they active (daily streak) – What kind of badges does your sponsor have? The badges will tell you just how active he/she is.

Does your sponsor have a SO (Standing Order)? Is your sponsor active in the forum? In other words is your sponsor setting a “good” example for you to follow?

Just being a good example to follow is worth at least 3 stars, whether or not they are communicating with their down-lines.

The 4 or 5 ratings are for those sponsors who are sending relevant weekly newsletters, Ecards, stream post, personal mentoring and recognition notices for accomplishments performed by their down-line affiliates.

A definite 5 stars if you are included in one of your sponsor’s co-ops or if your sponsor is re-assigning affiliates to you whether or not the re-assigned affiliates are active or in-active.

Always remember you are working as a team don’t rate your sponsor low in trying to force better action – you might make your sponsor treat you worse. If you’re going to give a low rating how about contacting your sponsor first and see if something can be done to make things better.

Also keep in mind that your business building activities do not depend on your sponsor helping you. Only you can make your business a success or not.

Be the sponsor that you wish your sponsor would be.

The main factor in motivating your down-line to accomplish specific steps in the building of their home business is to “lead by example.” The badges on your wall should be proof enough for your down-line to see you are also an EA or higher.

Many new affiliates are afraid of what we call a SO (Standing Order) for the ease of keeping our EA level (Executive Affiliate) so you can first insure your affiliates that the EA level can be obtained and maintained without a SO.

You can share the benefits of being an EA without sounding greedy by telling your down-line the advantages that they will receive as an EA.

In other words do not go into detail how much you will earn if they become an EA. Keep the topics main flow towards the rewards and perks they will receive as an EA.

Use the compensation plan and the income calculator to show your down-line what they could be missing by not being an EA.

One of the things I do is I send any of my affiliates that have raised at least 1,000 VP a Gift Certificate for the amount of $2.00 and suggest they buy the W3 kit. This will give them TCredits and MRP every month to help towards becoming an EA.

Another good way of helping to motivate your down-line into becoming an EA and maintaining it is to re-assign a couple active affiliates under them.

I personally am not in a position to re-assign anyone at this time so the way I do this is to use the down-line’s URL and place that on my rotator for new affiliates if they become an EA on their own. This has worked for me very well.

To be honest about your question on how to make sure your CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates and PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) are receiving your email messages? I would have to state that there is no good way to do that through SFI.

If you are talking about when you send a true “email” to the address they have supplied to SFI then the only way to tell is to send an email from your personal email account. I have done this on quit a few of my down-line affiliates both PSAs and CSAs.

If the email comes back as “un-deliverable” then you know their email address is no good. If you use a super good tracker attached to the message you send then the tracker will tell you if they opened your email or not.

This is another one of the “mistakes” we as affiliates are making. That is to be concerned about whether or not they are getting the emails. This should not be a concern of ours. Say What?!?

Well you heard me right. When someone is serious about building a business they will make sure that all forms of communication are open and operating properly and they would be “white listing” all important in-coming emails that are tied in to their business.

We as affiliates bother ourselves with quite a lot of things that have little or no value to the success of our personal business. In the past I have wasted many a hour in trying to find ways to connect with someone in my team.

I mean I was using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter Skype and dedicated email accounts just for my team only. To top that off I had about four or five other ways to try to get them to answer email or messages.

I had to ask myself – Is this involvement growing my business? To be honest no it was not. Then I realized that if they were serious about growing a business then they would be contacting me.

One of the hardest things for me to learn in this business was that you should not be chasing anyone. Do not go after them if they are not corresponding with you. Your time is needed for those who are trying to build their business and you need the time to keep your business growing with new affiliates.

Keep sending your mails and team newsletters – just don’t let the “non-responders” climb into your mind – it is not worth it.

Remember – when you want something don’t you see to it that you do what it takes to get it and that no one else is responsible in acquiring that thing except you? Well it is the same thing with the SFI and TripleClicks business.

That is why you keep hearing the saying – “Work with the Workers.”

Being that SFI and TripleClicks is free to join and always will be, it is easy to acquire affiliates that just want to look around for a while and see if this is what they want to do or not.

As their sponsor it is easy to want new affiliates to become active as soon as possible not only for our personal business building but also because we care for the affiliates we are enrolling.

One of the good ways in which to encourage our new affiliates to become active is to start sharing all the good stuff that is going on within your personal building activities. Such as winning TCredits, VPs (VersaPoints), MRPs (Member Reward Points) and other gifts and prizes.

Now the point is don’t just share that you are winning those things but also include “HOW” to better their chances to win the prizes.

Also share the milestones that you and other members are achieving through building activities. Use personal testimonies and those of other people. One example I used is that my wife and I went out to an expensive restaurant and had a good night out on the town all with the money I earned through SFI.

One of the best things you will want to do for encouraging your affiliates is to lead by example. Believe me; your affiliates are watching what you are doing. If you want your affiliates to do something have proof that you have been there and done that.

In your stream posts and newsletter or Ecards make sure you are NOT using phrases like;
You should - You need to - It would be better if you - When you are speaking to your teammates use phrases like: “We need to” - “We all should” – “It would be better if all of us” In other words include yourself when speaking to your team so that it doesn’t appear that you are being a dictator or being bossy.

Treat your team members as though they were your best friends – In due time, if you are being an Awesome sponsor your teammates will end up being your best friends anyway. One of the “Golden rules is; “Treat others the way you would want to be treated.”

With the holidays coming upon us, we have a way of helping to promote TripleClicks store and products. We can do this through “transfer buying.”

With transfer buying TripleClicks would be right up there with our competitors EBay and Amazon. How can I say this?

If you look at EBay and Amazon their platform is designed somewhat like our TripleClicks. The major part of their business is coming from individual orders made by the large number of members who purchase there.

Just imagine if every affiliate in SFI and every member of TripleClicks purchased just one gift for the holidays from their own store it would be a tremendous boost for TripleClicks and our executive pool.

During the seasons coming up, many families have “get-together” meals and visiting time. If you purchased products from TripleClicks that can be used during those times, sales in TripleClicks could skyrocket and commissions would rise. You are going to buy the items for your visitors anyway so why not get what you can from your own store.

If you can’t buy physical products then purchase gift certificates and give them out as gifts to your friends and relatives.

If we (affiliates) would think about TripleClicks as a “life style” instead of being just our business building activity, sales at TripleClicks would increase dramatically and so would the value of the VersaPoint and our Executive Pool.

Together we can outperform our greatest competitors – together we can make TripleClicks the envy or our competitors. Together we can make TripleClicks the first place that the Internet world would shop at before even thinking of the competition.
