How can I convince new affiliates of the importance of logging in at the Affiliate Center every day?

Start out by telling your new affiliates to log in every day in your welcome letter. The Fast Track is very important, as well as the E365 Contest. In order to complete the Launhch Pad Lessons and all of the other tasks on the VP Ledger and in the To-Do List, it is important to log in every day. News happens, many times it happens daily. A person only knows what's going on by logging in every day.
Just keep communicating with your new affiliates, as well as the rest of your team. You do your part. Your affiliates see your badges if they log in. In the long run, the affiliates have to make up their minds what they are going to do. Some affiliates are never convinced, no matter what you show them or tell them. However, you keep on communicating with them and showing them that you have been successful. Be an example to them. There will be those who follow you.

Should I promote participation in Pricebenders to my team? If so, for what reason(s)?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

You should definitely promote participation. The reason is that valuable TCredits can be earned, valuable MRP can be earned, personally Sponsored Affiliates (PSAs) can be earned and the items sold are often priced at very reduced percentages of the original cost.
Every bid uses one TCredit, and 500 VP may be earned per month. TCredits can be gained while bidding from the Bonus Bar. Each bid brings in 5 or 10 MRP. TCredits, PSAs and CSAs are often sold there, as well as S-Builder shares, Gift Cards and other items.
There are so many benefits at these auctions, including the daily VP earned, that there is no reason why you shouldn't promote this to your affiliates often. Be encouraged!

What is SFI's most important tool to use for building a successful business?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
All the tools at SFI are important for building your business. There is no one tool that is more important. All tools have been placed there by President Gery Carson and those who work with him, to help you succeed in your business. These tools work together very well.
I would say that if you want to use these tools effectively, go to the Tools Area at the SFI Affiliate Center and study in detail how to use them. There are really good marketing and other documents there which will help you learn how to use each of these tools and why they are so important. Above all, realize that these are what they say they are, tools. Read about them and study everything you need to know and use them. Be sure to train your affiliates to do the same.

If someone asks me about TripleClicks, what can I say that is both brief and will get them interested in TripleClicks?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
Explain to the person that TripleClicks is an online mall where you can purchase many useful items for yourself or a special person. Share the fact that people can sell good items from their home on TripleClicks and get paid directly. Share that there are penny auctions on the site and a number of games that can be played as well. Hand out a gift card with your Redemption Code and explain how to use it.
May you have great success in your business!
How can I provide positive but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in my emails to my downline?

I would be very careful with criticism. It implies a negative note. It is better to provide encouragement, along with invormation about what an affiliate could accomplish in the VP Ledger or the To-Do List or some aspects of advertising.
It is good to tell the affiliate that he/she is valuable, and be sure to thank him/her for being a valued affiliate. It is also good to warn the affiliate if he/she is doing something that may be against SFI policy or rules. Do this, however, in gentleness and without threats. Warn about losing the business if the affiliate continues to not listen.
Never try to twist the affiliate's arm to do something or use coercion. Just show by your work how to encourage your team to follow.
Have a really great day! I hope this answer is helpful.

How many affiliates do I need to sponsor each month to build a successful business?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
If you want to be successful in your business, you should sponsor as many affiliates as possible, because so many of them do not make any effort to work. Others start out well, but they do not continue to stay the course, for various reasons.
Because you really cannot know who will be motivated or who will not do anything or just be a complainer, it is wise to, "load your wagon." It's like planting seeds. You don't know which kinds will grow and continue to harvest and which ones will fail to grow. You don't know how the weather will affect them. All you know is that you must keep planting seeds and making sure they are watered and cared for. Eventually you will have a plentiful harvest.
So do not try to look at numbers and question how many affiliates you should sponsor. Just go out there and do it! Encourage them and teach them to do the same. A harvest is sure!

Is it a good idea to reassign your PSAs to someone in their own country?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

It is a good idea to reassign an affiliate to someone in his/her own country, but only under certain conditions.
To reassign affiliates, you should always have at least five affiliates who are EA or higher. You do not want to impoverish yourself.
Also, be sure that you know for certain that this person is not really able to communicate with you very well or understand what you are trying to teach. If the person is able to speak the same language you speak and you know you are able to work with that affiliate and you work together well, I would not suggest that you reassign that affiliate unless the person is an EA or higher and would be beneficial to that line in your team. The person you reassign the affiliate to should benefit and use this as an opportunity to grow his/her team.

I have a Fast-Track lapel pin. How best to use it to attract sign-ups into SFI?

It's great that you have your pin! Wear it proudly every day! When people ask you what this pin is, explain to them that you own your own business, SFI, and what fun you are having every day. Ask people if they would like to earn some extra money each month. If they are interested, give them your card with the Gateway page or your website and ask them to join you.
Keep doing this, and you will find some gems out there. They do exist. You just have to look for them. Your pin is an attractive way to show others something that definitely can help them, if they really want it.

A complete stranger sees your WAVE3 banner on your car. They ask what TripleClicks is. What do you say?

Share with the person that TripleClicks is your online store that has over 100,000 items, ranging from ebooks to gift items to food and natural supplements to magazine subscriptions and much, much more. People are able to sell items at this store, even their garage sale items. There are auctions going on all the time, where some items sell for 90 percent off the retail price. The auctions are different from any other because of a currency known as TCredits and the contest that goes with the auctions, known as Pick The Price. Show the person how much fun you are having with this store and as an affiliate of SFI, the business side of this, and that with work people do have a good income. Don't forget to hand out your Wave3 cards.

How do I get my downline members to participate in my team contests?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
Actualy, I do not find that people jump to participate in contests that often. So what I do is offer co-op shares to those who attain EA2 or higher ranks. The higher the rank the more shares I offer. This applies to all of my team, not just PSAs or CSAs. I sometimes give an affiliate some TCredits when only a few VP are needed to reach the next level.
As far as gift certificates are concerned, I'm very careful about offering gift certificates to affiliates, because some of them want them without working hard in the business.
Others may have different results, but this is what I have found.
