How do I convince new PSAs that purchasing a NMP (New Member Pack) is a smart business move?

Do remember that SFI will also send information to your new PSAs about the NMP.
That said, I think it might be okay to send an e-card or email to your newbies one time, a couple days after they join, pointing out all the benefits to be gained with Fast Tracker 2.0, benefits that will follow them all their time with SFI! Small investment for a major return!!
Also include in your information that the $20 can come from their own purchase, or from a PRMs purchase of something from TripleClicks. Where the $20 in sales comes from does not matter, so long as it happens within their first 10 days.
Best wishes with your PSAs:)...

How do I encourage my affiliates to get and stay active without coming across as selfish or as a dictator?

Choose the wording of your communications carefully.
Try to guide your affiliates with suggestions rather than statements of "...do..." or "...don't...". It can be difficult sometimes to remember that these are your partners, not your employees.
My suggestions...? I would suggest... You might want to... Try doing this... You might want to ... if you have the time.
Whenever your affiliates ask for your help, always try to formulate your answers along suggestive lines, including telling them the things that have worked best for you.
I hope these ideas are helpful:))...

What is the best way to help people that want to get involved with SFI who do not have time to put into it but have money to invest?

Their best options would be to spend time doing the minimums (dailies, read a few forum posts, rate at least 10 askSC answers), then focus on recruiting.
They can buy PSAs in a number of ways that do not require a lot of time. At their convenience, they might speak to family, friends, co-workers. Some of them might become PRMs rather than PSAs.
There are many advertising methods that do not necessarily take a lot of time, and several options for advertising programs.
I hope this food for thought helps:))...

What is the most important message I must convey to my team to prevent them becoming inactive?

There is no sure thing to say that will prevent inactivity, unfortunately!
But, take heart, because good communications from the beginning will go a long way towards keeping your team active. Always be positive in the weekly tips messages you send, and use the stream post to send your thoughts, too.
You need to be in frequent enough contact with your downlines to make them realize that you really will be there to help them if they get into difficulties, or have questions. Always try to provide them with the information they need, including the locations for finding it for themselves, but not in an abrupt, short way that will make them think you think ill of them for not finding it by themselves. Some people need a little more "led by the hand", while others are better explorers.
Be happy with all of them, do your best to give them the help they need, and hopefully(!!), they will stay active!...

Do I need to have a website or my own blog to be successful with SFI?

Since Facebook and some of the other more popular social sites have made direct references to SFI links nearly impossible, I would say you have 2 choices: Be very creative in the ways you post on social sites; OR, find advertising websites on which to place ads for SFI & TripleClicks.
You can chatter and post all day on the social sites about what you do in SFI/TripleClicks, extolling the products, games, benefits, etc., and include your email address, instead of your link, so others can contact you for more info if you post well enough to raise their curiosity. THEN you can send them whichever gateway link appeals to them. This might be a better way to get more interested sign-ups!
Bottom line, NO, I do not believe you need to have web/blog to succeed; you just may have to work a little differently to succeed!!:))
Best wishes...

Is it possible to be successful in SFI even when your PSAs and CSAs do not work or have stopped working?

Yes, it is possible. Not too easy, but it can be done.
Do all the items in To-do list as required, have at least one S-Builder Coop unit in your SO to bring in PSAs, etc., and stay in touch routinely with your downline.
Be aware, this is one of the most important tasks you have - contact with your downline! If you do not stay in touch with them - ALL of them - you will rarely have a chance to "wake them up". While reading Forum posts/replies,I have learned that several of our Team Leaders were sleepers on someone's team for a lot of years (as in 5-9 years!!), and a message from their sponsor landed just right to get them interested in trying! Point is, don't give up on anyone just because they don't snap to right away.
Work mainly with your Movers, and be sure to check your Genealogy frequently, as that list only contains top 7. You may have several more beginning to move, but slowly. That's why it's so important to stay in touch.
Have faith and confidence in yourself, remain positive, and reach always for your highest goals!!
Good Luck...

How can I transform my website traffic into SFI sign-ups?

One way would be to use the new TCredits upon sign-up offer. You can set up to give new affiliates from 3-9 TCs during the sign-up process. This will help get them familiar with TripleClicks.
Provide thorough "thumbnail" details about different aspects of SFI that will quickly boost them along the way to EAs, like New Member Pack (NMP). This one item will make them EA2, give them 750 total VPs, and an extra 10% share in the Executive Pool.
Intrigue their imagination, but do not mislead in any way.
Best wishes for your success!:))...

What is the best way to begin a new month in SFI and achieve success?

Have your Standing Order in place for at least 1500VP. This guarantees your position as EA2 without effort, time spent, or worrying about making it.
Now you can concentrate on acquiring at least another 1500VP to reach Bronze Team Leader. (Or higher, as you please.)
If your Sales VP (purchase of SO and maybe other products totaling 2000VP, or SO for between 1500-2000VP) total 2000, you only need 1000 more for BTL. My order is for a little over 1500, it's a little easier, and I still have room for purchases.
Then I make sure to visit Time Machine daily, Pick the Price of auctions, and I bid in auctions during the month. I make sure to do all the daily, weekly and monthly tasks on To-do list, and I rate 30 askSC answers most days (at least 10 EVERY day). I answer new questions in askSC (if I know an answer), too, hoping one day to have a top answer.:)
I make time to read Forum posts/replies as a learning process, and to keep up with what's up with others.
You need to do all the things you possibly can to promote YOUR business to the best of your ability - EVERY DAY!...

At this time, which are the best countries to advertise SFI in?

I believe I would tend to stay away from countries with whom the USA does not do business at this time (because SFI is US-based, there may be countries where shipping to is restricted for now.)
Otherwise, I would say to set your advertising to reach as far as it will go. If all the social media advertising takes your ads and posts around the world, so be it, and good for you!! In fact, that is what I would do: concentrate on FB, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, all the places with potentially world-wide spreading "shares"! That could be awesomely successful for you! Just cross your fingers and hope the signups get and stay active!!:))
I think it might otherwise be difficult to try to figure out which would be the best countries in which to advertise.
Very good luck to you:))...

How to go about setting up local meetings or seminars to recruit PSAs and PRMs?

Post notices on local bulletin boards at colleges, stores, flyers on car windows, etc. Also try newspaper ads.
When you do your local advertising, get specific which group you want, PSAs or PRMs, as your focus will be different for each. I would not recommend trying to combine a meeting for both at the same time.
Try to locate your meeting in a central area, where no one has to travel overly far to arrive. Aim for about an hour long, with the ability to go a little longer if you have good turnout and interested joiners!
Best wishes to the project!!:))...
