How long should I pursue inactive PSAs/CSAs with emails, e-cards, etc. before giving up on them?

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
After 1 year of inactivity all affiliates are automatically opted out by SFI. After this time you may no longer contact them. They are removed from being your downline.
As long as they are subscribed you do not give up on them. This means as long as they are in your genealogy you will continue.
Remember inactive affiliates may become active so don't write them off totally. Continue to include them in your weekly newsletters.
When there is a major change that could benefit them, I would send them a short note about it.
Whenever they become active, send them an eCard to acknowledge and motivate them.
Send them an 'Inactive" eCard when the notice goes out that they will soon be losing their account due to inactivity, You will know about this notice in your genealogy report.

Hope this helps!

Why should an SFI affiliate have his own domain, what are the advantages?

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
When you own a domain you have a wed address that is owned by and registered to you. You own a piece or real estate on the internet.
With your own domain you can build and own a website and do business online You can make money by monetizing the web pages.
Owning the domain gives you control of the website and its pages, so you can choose what to do with your website and what ads to display
The main advantage is owning a website. With one's own website he/she can:
1-Place SFI and Trplecliks banners and ads
2-Use it to brand him/herself
3-Customize it the way you want
4-Sell Tripleclicks products or services
A website is ideal for niche marketing, social media marketing, sharing pages and contents to social media.

I want to recruit only SERIOUS affiliates. What should I tell prospects about SFI to ensure this?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
Our first contact with a prospect, other than through word of mouth will be made through some form of promotion. The Marketing material such as our gateways and the information within them are preset by SFI, so they will be the 'Attention Getter' when we use them.
What is important is that the prospects know that they will be involved in an Affiliate Program. For many people it is not the opportunity of choice. Some do not favour the merchant/affiliate relationship. On the other hand, some people like you and I do.
It is important that they know:
-it is a business which requires that they be on the computer everyday.
-It is set up in English only, but there is a good translator tool.
- It is not a quick rich opportunity, it is a long-term endeavour, the longer they stay the greater the gains.
-it is free to Join and Stay on, but they will get more by investing time and money.
-It requires work on their part.
-There is an excellent compensation plan for those who are serious.
-There is opportunity for networking.
Hope this helps.

Many affiliates seem only interested in the Daily To-Do list. How can I motivate them to do other activities?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
Doing the Daily To-Do list should be enough to motivate any affiliate. There is a lot of information, tips and resources within those pages to make one want to do more.
Interest in the To-Do list only, may indicate a lack of knowledge of what SFI is really all about. Since it requires signing in there is obviously no problem with computer or internet. There is enough motivation to show up.
Completing the To-Do list will not give them an income, only an entry into the Grand Draw, it will not even give him/her EA status. If he is expecting to be an EA2 or a team leader he must work towards it each month. Understanding this will help him/her move beyond this.
You want to get the affiliate to open up and explain what his/her expectations are. If it is to get more out of SFI than just the 'To-Do' list. Show him/her how doing more will get them there.
Have they set goals? if accomplishing their goals involve doing more show them how to accomplish their goals. If he/she is just too lazy to do more, then they are too lazy to succeed.
If they are too lazy to work they may be interested in the games. Brag about your winnings and encourage them to try for fun.
You may want to organize contests surrounding more elaborate tasks. See who the winners are!
Hope this helps!

Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
When you join SFI you would receive a welcome letter from your Sponsor. When you sign in you will be able to read the stream posts from him/her.
You will receive weekly newsletters and occasional eCards from him/her.
Your sponsor has a leadership page which he /she is advised to keep updated.
These are all forms of communication from your sponsor to you. They are ways that you can receive guidance.
To get noticed you can contribute by:
* Sending a dynamic commitment letter to him/her
* Whitelisting his/her email address
* Read and refer to his Leadership page- Ask questions on what is written on the leadership page.
* Read the stream posts and regularly leave a comment on the posts, this will enable you to develop a better relationship.
If what your sponsor is doing is not enough, use the SFI Chat and his private email to contact him/her and ask for the help you need. Be specific.
Hope this helps.

What are the best ways to show your appreciation for the efforts of your most active affiliates?

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
Showing appreciation for work already done can be effective motivators. Start by developing a good relationship with all active PSA's, especillay the most active ones
-Use the stream to congratulate and recognize their accomplishments.
-Send them an eCard on special occasions, like when they have become winners.
-Keep the lines of communication open and respond to their questions in good time.
Financial
Invite them to share in a co-op, in which you split the cost with them.
Set up a Co-op and include them for a small number of PSA's, at no cost to them.
If you can afford it, reassign an active PSA to your hard working ones who are demonstrating good leadership.
Other rewards can be in the form of gifts:
-Gift certificates
-Business eBooks
Got a blog or website, place a link of their choice on it, this will get them some traffic to their gateway or product.
Do you live in the USA? Advertise the PrivacyMaxx for your hard working PSA's who are not living there.
Hope this helps!

Is it worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little English or have very limited computer/Internet experience?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)
2/27/2015 10:01 am
Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
The answer is "YES," it is more than worthwhile.
There are many resources to help affiliates with those two limitations.
1- There is a translator tool on each page for your's and the affiliate's use. You can use it to communicate with affiliates who understand little English. Advise them to use it too.
There is the A2A community where you will find many affiliates that speak a second language or affiliates who have the same language limitations. Direct them there to seek out friends that speak their language or live in the same country.
As for limited Internet experience:
Anyone joining SFI used the Internet to do so, learning more about the Internet should not be difficult. SFI has an Internet income course with lessons that cover many Internet topics, from basic to advanced. As you know it is all free.
There is the forum where tips, advice and help on Internet matters are readily available. There are tons of experienced Internet marketers reading and posting there each day. If the question is not that of the affiliate a lot can be learnt from other posts too. There are now forum gurus who are more eager than before to help.
There is the ASK SC, this is another place where tons of experienced Internet users can be found. Ask a question and you will get of lots good answers.
Your responsibility is to ensure they know of these and other resources and not to decide if it is worthwhile. Let them be the judge of whether it is worthwhile for them.

Which is best...advertising individual TripleClicks products or the entire TripleClicks store?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Promote TripleClicks by using your TripelClicks Gateway by all means;this goes without saying. You have your own gateway for this.
You can also promote either individual products or an entire ECA store. It depends on the market you are trying to reach and whether you want to sell a variety of the same type of products or whether you want to sell only a few products in a niche market.
If an ECA store has lots of items in stock and they are of the same category, example, they are all electronics you may want to promote that entire ECA store. This is especially so if the price is right and you just want to sell electronics.
If you want to sell exercise & fitness products and there isn't an ECA with a lot of these items in stock but there are several exercise & fitness products at SFI, you may want to sell individual items from different ECA's.
You may want to sell only one or two individual products that you believe in, products that you have used and you are willing to write about.
TripleClicks is a large department store with a lot going on, so sell individual products for niche marketing.

If you're new in SFI and new to marketing, etc., how can you help a new PSA who needs guidance?
Jennie Franklin, Aff (Ontario, CA)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
Your question is a scenario of the importance of reading and learning soon after signing up and before sponsoring.
To help a PSA needing guidance there are lots of training material at SFI that can be used to guide them. Direct them to the specific training pages with the links to them. These are some main links that can be used, since you are both new direct him/her to:
-Launchpads
-Getting Started
-To-Do list
-The ASK SC questions
-The Forum
-The Rules of Success
Since you, yourself, need to learn about SFI and you want to communicate as a sponsor you will need to acquire knowledge that you can use as a good guide. You need to know the basic information that is required by every PSA (to Get started). You need to have completed the launchpads and know the rules of success fairly well. You will have to be continually reading and learning.
You must be active enough to lead by example, that means signing in everyday, completing the daily actions without fail and sponsoring.
Put together a nice newsletter with step-by-step instructions for your PSA's to follow. Post this newsletter as a blog post on your leadership page. Get your sponsor to help you with this blog post, let him know why. Direct him/her to this blog post.
Direct any new PSA to this Blog post.
Hope this helps.
