Is it worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little English or have very limited computer/Internet experience?

If language is a problem, they can use Google translation to help to translate English into their official languages. But I believe that most will understand, read and write simple English as English is a universal business language for communication. Having limited computer and internet experience may be a problem to some who seldom access to computer. But computer and internet have been in existence since the sixties, I don't think that a large population in the developing countries are inaccessible to computer and internet as online businesses have been in existence for a few decades. What is more important is their understanding of the internet business and the desire to learn as they operate the business. After all,the menu and directions have been set. With a pointer and a click of the mouse, they can access to the information they need. So I would still consider it is worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little but do understand English. Experience can be earned through continuous learning and practicing. There's a will, there's away.

Which is best...advertising individual TripleClicks products or the entire TripleClicks store?
James Noik, Aff (Malaysia)

Affiliate since: 06/27/2013, Power Rank: 196
TripleClicks has more than 90,000 products in 28 categories ranging from food, hobbies real estates etc. sold through more than 3,900 ECAs from 149 countries. It is best to sell these products based on demographic composition in term of age, sex, cultures, geographical locations and their needs. First of all, you need to identify your target groups based on age, economic income, and needs. As an example, retirees of 60 years and above with stable monthly income, who care more of their health and expect to live many more years in good health, need better health food and balanced nutrition. So I would promote a food supplement completed with vitamins and essential elements that help to build up body resistance and immunity against various types of diseases.A choice of advertising media is very important to be able to reach this age group. Pick the most popular product supported by testimonial manifestation of its effectiveness.Secondly, you don't need big space in the advertising media. This will help to save cost of advertising.Thirdly, it's easy to monitor the effectiveness of your advertising and the consumption of the product. To advertise 90,000 plus TripleClicks in 3,982 ECS in 149 countries is impossible and will not produce good results. It is best to select a few high demand products that are suitable to the target groups based on age, geographical locations and the control practices(Consumer Law)

What's best for team building...doing my own advertising or buying PSAs?
James Noik, Aff (Malaysia)

Affiliate since: 06/27/2013, Power Rank: 196
The success of SFI business is the result of having a strong and active team. Team building is the core activity of SFI business i.e without a team, you are alone and fairly difficult to be successful. You need your downline to contribute to your AVPs so that you can move up the ladder as a Team Leader. To do that you need PSAs to build up your team. You can do this by subscribing to S- Builder, buy PSAs To Go, win PSAs in auctions and Bid & Build, and win PSAs in Daily Grand contest. However having a large number of PSAs does not quarantee success if most of them are inactive. But hoping that out of so many, 5 of them will be active at least to EA level. Gradually these 5 will move up to be Team Leaders. So I would consider have more PSAs first which can be acquired through advertising, sponsoring and duplication. Buying PSAs first to build up the team and you are ready to spend your advertising dollar to get more affiliates. Advertising can be done through many media.

How do you get your affiliates engaged and conversing regularly with you?
James Noik, Aff (Malaysia)

Affiliate since: 06/27/2013, Power Rank: 196
First, I look into the genealogy report to see the progress of each affiliate on versa points, last date of login and other useful information that you may need to analyse to communicate with the affiliates. Send team mail or individual email to remind them to take actions. Give credit to those who are progressing. If they are online, you can chat with them or leave personal messages. Secondly, invite them to ask questions. Thirdly, be friendly in your approach. No pushing but need to make a choice that SFI business is about both individual and team building efforts. As a team leader, our task is to encourage them to take the next positive steps to achieve their goals(goal setting in their profile). Set a good example(duplication) that motivate them to follow. The rest may come from experience.

Is it wise to offer non-SFI related incentives to my CSAs and PSAs? For example, create a standing order and get a free DVD?
James Noik, Aff (Malaysia)

Affiliate since: 06/27/2013, Power Rank: 196
As SFI affiliates, we are all in SFI business. Our income and rewards come from SFI. So we should not get something outside SFI to give to our PSAs or CSAs. There is no outflow of cash. Both Tripleclicks and ECAs will benefit. We will earn VPS, MRPs and bonus in terms or SVPs, AVPS and product reviews. All parties will benefit. So it is not wise to offer non- SFI related incentives to affiliates. There are hundreds and thousands of products from tripleclicks and ECAs to choose from at discount and bargain prices. Secondly, any product bought outside SFI is not counted into your sale vps. But you can set up Standing Order on tcredits, S-builder, PSAs to go, and other items within trpleclicks that are required every month e.g health food supplements..

Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?
James Noik, Aff (Malaysia)
2/19/2015 6:15 pm
Affiliate since: 06/27/2013, Power Rank: 196
There are limitations in making cold calling with the availability of modern communication technology with computers, laptops and smartphones. Messages can be sent in seconds and responses can be received almost immediately. Cold calling consumes much time and time means money. Many people are aware of scam and fraud businesses and cautious about them and most likely the prospects will turn down the invitation unless they know well of the company. Cold calling is only good when the prospects are known and the ability of the caller to entice the prospects to answer the call.A good and experienced telemarketer will know the time and the type of prospects to call. With modern technology, most people prefer to communicate through smartphones and computers where they are undisturbed with calls. So cold calling is only good for the right prospects who wants to know more and willing to listen. But not a good method for prospects who are reluctant to listen and to know more. I prefer to go for advertising, emails, tweet and facebook where the prospects can access us personally.

Which is better and why...to contact my PSAs through SFI (e.g. PSA Mailer) or directly via their email address?
James Noik, Aff (Malaysia)
3/28/2015 12:14 pm
Affiliate since: 06/27/2013, Power Rank: 196
First is to understand how PSA Mailer and individual email systems work. Secondly, What is your objective to use both and intended results you expect to achieve. Thirdly, different situations need different treatment based on case by case basis. There are limitations to both of them.
Preferably, I use PSA mailer to contact a group of PSAs using a customized letters/emails
readily prepared by SFI. Generally, this is used in the welcoming letters, telling PSAs to do the necessary tasks to complete registration and expectation of SFI. Using SFI platform, PSA Mailer will direct the emails safely to the Affiliates' website.Outgoing mails can be tracked by SFI and acknowledging that the group mails have been sent. There is less chance that the mails will go to SPAM unless the receivers treat as SPAM.
PSAs' email addresses have been filtered by SFI and most likely that these email addresses are valid. PSAs must whitelist SFI mails to ensure that they will receive emails from SFI unless PSAs have cancelled off their account or opted out from SFI.
It is a most convenient way to send letter in bulks to save time and effort. Using the same platform and customized letters you can these mails to hundreds of PSAs in seconds or minutes as compared sending individual emails to hundreds of PSAs which might take hours to send one by one. Individual email is used in a particular case only. For selective group members, you can build up a list in excel format to send as group mailer.
