How do you prevent people from preying on your downline and convincing them to join other programs?

Unfortunately, you cannot stop people from doing that. All you can do to help is to remind your downline to be prudent. Do not go jumping into each and every programme that they hear of. Check it out first. Some could be legit, with a different product being promoted. Some is pure scam, no product at all, just the promise of money coming in if you can bring in new recruits. And some generate money by asking their members to pay for membership, but no solid product whatsoever. The money is from membership payments, not sales.
SFI to me is amazing. TripleClicks is amazing. You have expensive items, you have cheap items, you have items you need everyday, you have items that you can splurge on if you want to reward yourself for something. And there is a lot more potential to grow if every member brings in new ECAs. There is no need to even look for another program. SFI has it all.

What are the things about SFI that most convince people to join?

In my opinion, it is the FREE tagline that comes with SFI that sells it. And the easy opt out option.
The kind of people who joins are most probably those without much money to spare. Hence the word 'free' is a big puller. But they are also wary about something being free, but later on finding out that there is nothing to the program and would like to take out their name from being associated with that particular program any further. Unfortunately, there is a complicated way of opting out.
I joined one program which is free, but when I tried it but couldn't get my head around it I wanted to get out. Unfortunately, I have to call in during their office hours just to get them to remove me from membership. No email request will be entertained. Imagine that - an internet company wanting their members who's probably on a 12 hour time difference to call them only during their office hours. I think they purposedly make it difficult for people to leave so they can claim a large membership base, more than any others.
SFI is not like that. Easy and free to join. Equally easy and free to leave. But before leaving, tell your prospects to browse first. Just like we browse the shopping mall before deciding to buy something, browse SFI before deciding to leave.

What are the best tips for answering ASK SC questions so that you get the maximum number of votes possible?

I would recommend you read the answers that are already available in Ask SC. Evaluate them and categorise them. Try and determine what sort of answers are favoured by our SFI family.
Perhaps answers that are more personal? With experiences? Or personal account. Or maybe with step by step tips?
Or maybe you need to become one of the first to submit an answer because later answers might repeat some of the early ones and people voting might not like to see the same answers being repeated.
You can study and craft your answers so that you will get the most votes. Or you can just be honest and submit answers that you feel will help our SFI family. After all, we want everyone to succeed because everyone's success help others in the long run.

When I am fully self-employed with SFI, and someone asks what I do for a living, what do I tell them?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)

I can't wait for that to happen! I am dreaming of the day when I can quit my 9 to 5 job to stay at home and take care of my kids fulltime. And SFI is my plan for my income when that day finally happens.
This is what I would tell everyone:
"I am a fulltime housewife with a business of my own. I wake up in the morning to get my kids ready for school, ensuring they are fully fed before leaving the door. And after dropping them off at school, I spend time working my business while I get my own breakfast.
And while I'm at the laundry waiting, I spend more time expanding my business, talking to people, making sales, handling queries, teaching others to do the same thing to reach their own personal goals.
When my kids come back from school, I spend time with them going over their homework, playing with them in the garden, preparing dinner, all the time confident that my business is growing by leaps and bounds.
Would you like to be able to do the same thing?"

How do I get new, anxious-to-earn-NOW affiliates to understand that it takes time to develop a successful business?

Is that really the question? If they are anxious to earn NOW, then just let them know the steps required. Collecting VPs, achieving EA, advertising constantly (and most important, do not spam). Maintain consistently and in their 3rd month they should already see money coming in (If they reached EA2 the 2nd month).
The amount is too small, they say? Teach them what else they need to do to increase their income. Like building a team, teaching their team to do the same thing. Once the see even 1 EA2 in their down line, their income would increase.
It is these enthusiastic people that we want and should look for. Guide them correctly and your business would explode.

What is the best way to contact a prospective ECA?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)

Personally, I will have to let you know :)
Seriously, though, I googled small and medium scale industries in my area to find their contact details. Then I sent them an email introducing TripleClicks and the ECA programme. I explained to them about the targetted customers (meaning us affiliates!) and you won't get any better targeting because we check out our store everyday!
Another method I use is by snailmail. I write an introductory note in my local language (on TripleClicks Letterhead is best!) and include a flyer on ECA. Obviously I include my business card in case they would like to contact me further. Then I put everything inside a TripleClicks envelope and pop it in the mail.

When do I know that I've become successful in SFI and TripleClicks?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)

Simply put, when you have reached your goals.
Everyone's definition of success is different. Therefore, only you know when you can consider yourself successful.
If you have an ECA you may set yourself a goal of certain amount of sales from your ECA every month and when you reach that you can deem yourself successful. Or perhaps you would like to consider your ECA rating.
Or maybe you have set yourself a certain amount of active PSAs as your goal. And ultimately your monthly income.
Only you can define your success.

Among the popular Standing Order items (IAHBE, S-Builder, TCredits), which is best and why?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)

I would say that it depends on your objective.
TCredits are like currency in TripleClicks, therefore if you are actve in Pricebenders, Pick the Price, uses TCredits to reward your downlines, then I would say TCredit is the best choice for you.
If you are still new and are still looking to build your team, then SBuilder should be your choice. You will receive signups as your own PSAs. About 2 a month, that is what I usually get during my early years. And you can teach them to be active.
If you want to learn about internet marketing, then IAHBE is the best bet. You can get access to their resources to learn and develop yourself.
So only you can say which is best for you coz everyone's target is different.

Is SFI good for students (18 or older)? Why or why not?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)
4/16/2014 2:56 am
Affiliate since: 03/28/2011, Power Rank: 591
In my opinion, it depends on the student. Some people are so level headed they do not party at all. They concentrate on studying because they realise that what they learn will help them throughout their lives.
For these type of students, I say go ahead and try SFI. If they have their heads about them, they would realise that before they even start working, they would have debts to pay (loans, house, car, pay back their parents, etc). SFI can help them with all that.
For the other type, I would say let them have fun and when they're ready only then introduce SFI to them. They may be able to make money, but that money will only go towards partying and somehow that does not sit well for me.
To each his own.
:)

Is it wise to offer non-SFI related incentives to my CSAs and PSAs? For example, create a standing order and get a free DVD?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)

It depends on what the DVD is about. A workout DVD? There's nothing wrong in that. But it would be better to offer business building incentives. Like free 1000 visitors to his SFI gateway. Or if the DVD is a talk by a business Guru.
The only thing that is not allowed is cross solicitation. That means getting your CSAs and PSAs to join another business outside of SFI. Other than that, the limit is your imagination.
