I am not Internet savvy and have no clue about setting up a Website. Should I get a VeryVIP Hosting package or what other options are good?

Actually, the VeryVIP Hosting Package is a great idea. With it, you are able to satisfy your EA status, because it can provide you with the necessary VP (VersaPoints) you need each month (depending upon which package you choose) to obtain EA (Executive Affiliate), as well as giving you the online business presence you require. Still, as you will find out, there are other ways, of course, to satisfy your EA status each month. And, as others have pointed out, building and maintaining your own website or blog could never be easier. There's Typepad.com, Weebly.com, WordPress and others that can help you establish your own BRAND or online, website presence.

What is the best way to evaluate Traffic Exchanges for SFI use?

When it comes to traffic exchanges, I, like many others, have found that it's through trial and error that will enable you to best "evaluate" traffic exchanges. And understand, it can be a 'long-term' evaluating process. Like already mentioned, it would be best to join as many traffic exchanges as possible to manage, and track the results you get from each one. One thing for sure, traffic exchanges can pay great dividends for your advertising campaigns, especially the 'truly' global ones!

Now that I have acquired Bronze Team Leader status with 3,000 VP, how can I maintain my monthly 3,000 VP and BTL status?

Yes, congratulations Joyce on making BTL. Absolutely, your TO-DO-LIST is key and having a standing order of 1500 VP or more each month, will allow you to maintain the initial status of EA, putting you in line to obtain, or maintain, the status of BTL.
I have affiliates come to me for help who are not part of my team--should I help them or send them away?

It's a wonderful thing when someone seeks you out for advice. It should instantly remind you of what it was like when you first joined SFI. When you can assist them in their time of need, the feeling of satisfaction you have can be overwhelming. But if you are unable to help them, direct them to someone who can. Always take the time to help, it can only bring you more reward in the future!
What should a new SFI affiliate focus on to ensure a good financial return in their first month?

Yes, my friends, an excellent question. It's one that goes to the very heart of your future success with SFI. In fact, the first 30-days are what helps to define and to mold an affiliate's true desire and metal towards whatever SUCCESS he/she will have. Still, there is no way to guarantee any amount of return over the first 30-days. There are things you can do to increase the odds in your favor. Like logging in everyday, making certain you do the LAUNCHPAD training, going through the BASICS and the TO-DO LIST. In reality, in the first 30-days, a new affiliate should be concentrating more on learning, than on profits. Why? Because the more he/she knows, the more financial success he/she will ultimately obtain. The financial return will come!

Why does it seem like everyone who joins SFI think it's get-rich-quick?

This is one of those questions that I can answer from a personal standpoint. When I first started on my journey to getting "rich-quick" (1996), I can't remember responding to one offer that made me feel that getting rich, overnight, was an impossibility. Which is why it always hit me hard whenever I failed, which was all of the time. I learned the hard way, there just aren't any easy paths to riches or success, unless you can start off with a great deal of money, and even then, it's not guaranteed you'll get to the level you want. Simply, we are made to believe in such. But now, thanks to companies like SFI, we can better understand that "getting rich quick" are for people who are willing to walk through life in a dream, rather than to face reality!

What attitudes make the difference between achieving mediocrity and success?

My frame of mind says, "Where business is concern, one must never consider reaching mediocrity as an achievement." Indeed, it's a matter of attitude. Attitude breeds desire, in one way or another. One who desires very little, in all likelihood that's what he or she will receive. For those who desire a lot, there's a different kind of motivational 'attitude' that kicks in for them. Success doesn't seem quite as far away or impossible as it once did. And I truly believe, we, each one of us, is responsible for our own attitude. So, then, why not develop within yourself, a positive attitude?

Has anyone tried the paid Facebook advertising and, if so, did it work/was it was worth the cost?

I agree with the majority in this case. Facebook adverts and SFI, bad mix! I've done better with traffic exchanges. As far as their paid advertising is concern, Facebook will make money, but you won't. Like one of the other members said, post cards, flyers, door hangers, etc. are better advertising sources than using Facebook. On Facebook, most of the people are more interested in getting out what they want to say than to check out what you have to say, or in this case, advertise!
When should we give up on CSAs who don't respond to our messages or do anything?
Cal Warren Akers, Aff (Pennsylvania, US)

Truth is, it's not so much about giving up on CSA's who don't respond to messages or do nothing, as it is moving on to those willing to make a difference. It comes down to 'Special Concern, or Interest." For example, there's the 15-year old child and the 15-month old child. Who gets more attention? In all respects, it's the 15-month old child. In this case, the "highly-inactive" CSA is the 15-year old child. By choice he/she remains inactive. The 15-month old child is the CSA actively sponging up as much knowledge as he/she can to be successful. In reality, you love them both, but one requires that "Special Concern, or Interest." Still, because they are both in your geneology, you support them both according to your bid for business success.
