In one sentence, how do you respond when someone asks you about the business you are involved in?

Here's what I tell them: SFI is my business; it's network marketing online, but nothing like I've ever seen before; it has a store where you can shop, sell your own items in the store, participate in auctions and much more; it's a business where you can earn points for almost anything you do and earn extra income (then I give out my web address and a TripleClicks gift card).
What is the best way to explain either to a prospect or a new affiliate the relationship between SFI and Tripleclicks or Pricebenders?

SFI is the business and TripleClicks is the financial lifeblood of the business, a store where affiliates and customers can purchase thousands of items and where affiliates and customers can bid at Pricebenders auctions.
All of these put together are essential parts. Affiliates are paid commissions, partly from the Executive Pool. There are funds from purchases that go into this Pool. Also, some funds from purchases are used for charitable work. Without the TripleClicks Store, there would be no commissions. The business part is what helps this store to grow. Without the affiliates, there would not be the growth of the store by purchasing and advertising to customers.

Why is creating duplication in your SFI business important?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

When you keep duplicating, you multiply what you are doing. When you teach your affiliates to duplicate what you are doing, you build an active network of affiliates and they teach their affiliates to duplicate. This means you have a strong team and everyone's VP begins to skyrocket! Earnings also grow, because the more VP everyone gets, the more income everyone gets.
The important thing to remember is that without duplication, you're working this business alone. SFI was not designed for you to struggle to build your business alone. The system was designed, from the ground up, to be duplicatable in every way. By following the good examples of your sponsor and upline affiliates, you have a winning team. Any other way just doesn't work.

I think the TripleClicks TCards are a great marketing tool. To whom would you give the cards to and why?

I give these cards out anywhere to people who use the Internet. I also give them out in the mail to family and friends who use the Internet or who have an Email address. They're also given out in stores to thank people for their service or in restaurants in the tips. This is the bes thing that happened to SFI. One way to use these is to write in the letter with the cards you send in the mail a holiday greeting, say, for Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduation, birthday, Thanksgiving Day or just that you're thinking of them. Give them out to cab drivers who use the Internet as well. You just never know what will come out of this. It's just like planting seeds. You plant in many areas, not knowing what ones will come up. It's the most fun I've had with SFI!

My approach to attracting new affiliates isn't working. What should I do now?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
I am not sure what to tell you because I don't know what your approach has been to attracting new affiliates. However, It may be well for you to go back to the marketing area and study all of the information on the marketing tools that have been put in place. Start with the Beginner Marketing Aids. Try the advertising co-ops. S-Builder is a good place to start. There are also some very good co-ops at TripleClicks that you can join. When you join them, create a co-op with the Co-Op Manager and use that tool to the fullest extent possible. Then begin to use the eCards and gift cards and the other tools that are available, like banners, shirts, mugs, mouse pads, car signs, text ads in your email signature, etc.
The point is that you have to use a number of tools to advertise your business, because you never know which one will work best. It's just like planting seeds. You have to plant many seeds, and you have to plant more than one kind of seed. The reason is that you don't know which ones will grow or how the harvest will turn out. Just remember to stay the course.
Even animals have to be patient. Eggs are often crushed or do not hatch for many reasons. The young ones are often captured and killed. The animals often have to reproduce in large numbers because of these challenges. It's the same with advertising.
I hope this gives you some help.

What are the benefits of IAHBE so that we can best introduce it to our affiliates?

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
There are a number of benefits of IAHBE. Did you know that you can sell IAHBE subscriptions! You can! Anyone who is building a business, whether in SFI or some other market, can benefit from the wealth of information available in IAHBE. You gain 1500 VP when you sell each subscription to customers, month after month. You, as an SFI affiliate, can also purchase a subscription, month after month, and gain the same 1500 VP and valuable information. Your affiliates also gain the valuable VP by purchasing IAHBE subscriptions each month. Everyone gains 1500 VP, becomes an EA (Executive Affiliate) and gains entitlement to all of the valuable information.
The beauty of this is that everyone gains matching VP because their affiliates purchased IAHBE subscriptions and have PRMs doing the same thing. This makes everyone a winner.

Thousands of SFI affiliates are doing the same thing. How do you stand out from the crowd?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
It's true that thousands of affiliates are doing the same thing. However, no two affiliates are doing things exactly the same way because every person is unique.
For example, I may use one word text ad in my signature on all my emails, while another person may use the same text ad in his signature with some modifications in the text for his/her use. One affiliate gains VP by completing the daily, weekly and monthly tasks on the "To-Do List" and in other ways, including playing games, bidding at auctions, trying to win in the Daily Grand contest, etc. However, not everyone wins the same prizes, even in the E365 Contest, and badges on each affiliate's page are different. Each person has his/her creative way of sponsoring affiliates, referring TripleClicks members and communicating with team members and with the general public. So each person who is willing to work hard at this business stands out, no matter if he/she is Number 1 in rankings or not. The uniqueness of each hard-working affiliate makes him/her stand out.
If you want to stand out, be yourself and work hard and keep in touch with your affiliates and your team and be a positive role model. Just keep on doing what you are doing and have fun doing it. You will begin to stand out in your own way.

I've been in SFI for one year now with no success. What should I do now?

What do you define as success? Is it money? Is it prestige? Is it fame and fortune? Is it reaching the top?
If success to you is only money, then maybe you need to realign things and think things through. Do you enjoy helping people? Do you want to see people succeed by living a better life than they did before? Are you in a hurry to get millions of dollars in your pocket as fast as you can with little effort? That is what these schemes are that have been offered on the Internet, time and time again. They promise all sorts of fancy things and lots of money with little or no effort. Then you have to pump out all sorts of cash and make those same promises to others. Please remember that no business works that way. No work ever brought immediate harvests. It has always taken hard work, years of hard work. In anything you do in life, you must make a commitment and you must stay committed to succeed. If you use the tools given you the way they are supposed to be used, you will have success in all areas, not just finances.
I hope this helps you think through your question and helps you decide which direction you should go.

How much time a day, approximately, do I need to invest in SFI to build a profitable business?
Jeannette Gerrard, Aff (District of columbia, US)

Affiliate since: 11/13/2001, Power Rank: 74
The time you need to invest each day in your SFI business depends on how far yu want to go with your business and how fast you want to move. It also depends on your computer skill level and how quickly you can work. It also depends on the day of the week and the tasks you need to perform on each day.
Here's how I work. On Sundays I perform my daily and weekly tasks and, if it is the first of the month, my monthly tasks on my To-Do List. This includes sending out my weekly letter and making sure my Stream posts are submitted, etc. If I have new affiliates, I send my welcome letters. I also play games and do other things during the day.
During the rest of the week, I complete daily tasks, write welcome letters, and play games and do other offline things.
Depending on how much work is there for me to do, It may take me from one hour to three hours or more. If there is an auction, or several of them, it could take me more hours. Then, handing out gift cards and talking to people about SFI and TripleClicks uses up time as wel.
For these reasons, I feel that you must determine your daily time slots for working on your business. It might take you 30 minutes to work on your daily tasks, but remember that you should spend time reading and reading and reading so you are up to speed on everything and so you can help your team. You may need to spend time chatting online or talking to affiliates on the phone to help them. This takes time.
I know this is not a definite answer, but I hope it will give you some ideas about what you want to do and where you want to go and the level you want to reach in your business. Above all, have fun with this, and you won't worry about the time factor. Time flies when you're having fun!
