To be able to have a sensible advise, we must be an ECA ourselves and study not only the steps and process on how to be an ECA, but the strategies how to generate sales.

There are two strategies in making sales as far as the product is concern.

1. If the ECA has existing products the strategy is to find the people who need or want that product. Inside SFI, its quite difficult to find them, what you do is just promote it to your uplines, downlines and a2a friends. But outside SFI, in social media like FaceBook and Twitter it's easier to find people with interest on certain product. Because you can search them using keywords.

2. If you don't have product yet then the strategy is to determine the demand. Inside SFI for example, the obvious demand are those that can help affiliates to find more affiliates. So, products like ebooks for online marketing, selling sign-ups, clicks and visits to SFI gateways and blogs about SFI, maybe the good products to sell.

As far as the Pricing is concern, the shipment cost is the biggest issue. When you sell internationally, the price will not be attractive when you add the shipment cost. So you can also adopt two general strategies to mitigate the shipment cost issue.

1. Sell products and services that can be delivered digitally to international market.

2. Sell physical products that need to be shipped in the local market.

This question has an obvious YES answer. We should take note that we will be getting 10% of the Commission Value (CV) as royalty for all items that our ECA sold. So, we should make sure that they are able to set up their stores and upload their products so that they can start making sales.

Let me share how I helped my ECA's to start getting sales.

1. First of all I applied to be an ECA myself so that I can experience how to be one myself. I had two purposes when I joined ECA program. First I want to sell my service of making blog and second I want to gain experience to be an ECA and invite and assist my PSA's to become one.

2. Once they become an ECA you should review to them the process and rules and benefits of becoming an ECA. These information is found here http://www.tripleclicks.com/ECA/ECAGW.php.

3. You should brainstorm with them about their products and the selling strategies. One important thing that you should discuss is the balance between the price and the shipping cost.

4. Teach them to have good pictures and descriptions of their products.

5. The uploading is quite easy when they are in their ECA account. But in case they don't know then you can personally assist them when they are near you or through skype if they are far from you.

6. Teach them how to promote their products using the product links. They can promote their product inside SFI by sending messages to their uplines,downlines and a2a friends OR outside SFI, in Face Book for example.

7. Once he gets his first sale, teach him how to fulfill the delivery the fastest possible time. The best way to do this is you buy the first item from him. They will not just be encourage by your support but they can learn the whole process with you.

I like this question because this is one of the untapped source of income at SFI that would possibly change your game plan as I did.

I usually teach and encourage all my PSA to become an ECA after they have a good grasp of the basics.

You see, we have multiple streams of income here at SFI and being an ECA is one of them. Let me mention the other streams so that we have a clear overview on how ECA program can help in your SFI business. There are about eight of them and I will mention the ECA at the last.

1. 45% of the Commission Value (CV) from the purchases of your PSA.

2. 15% of the commission Value (CV) from the purchases of your CSA.

3. Share from the 40% of Commission Value of all sales from TripleClicks. Your share depends on your rank and VP earned.

4. You also earn if you recruit affiliates for SFI in the SFIPPA Program, which depend on the activities of your recruit.

5. You can earn if you sell your old stuff.

6. You earn from different draws and rewards rewards both in SFI and TripleClicks,

Thanks for asking this intelligent question. Like you, I also observed that there are so many active affiliates here at SFI who are at their retirement period.

This is probably true because retired people have plenty of time. Earning online is something that they do to be productive while at home. They also have some amount to spend in growing their online business and of course they are wiser.

So, how do we attract these retired senior citizens to SFI? Here are the steps that I would like to suggest.

1. Learn where to find them.

If plan to do warm marketing (face to face), roam around your place and see where they usually gather. Coffee shops perhaps, in plaza, in ponds or any senior citizens club.

In online marketing you can find them on several retirees group. Search it in facebook and you can find many. Search Google for forum of senior citizens and retirees and you will find many.

2. Know what they need and what they enjoy.

You can do this by befriending them. You will find out that some would enjoy earning, some would enjoy bidding, some would enjoy selling, some would enjoy recruiting, some would enjoy trivia, some would enjoy music.

Their needs and enjoyment are great open door for us to introduce SFI.

I understand that you have already made the first contact to get the interest of your potential affiliate. Now what you want is a letter that will finally get your prospect to sign-up as your affiliate.

I will not give you an exact letter to send but I want to suggest what should be the content of your letter and the reason why it should be there.

1. In your first paragraph, you must tell him about the company, SFI - This is important because it will create confidence in their part to join. In one short paragraph you should be able to tell him the stability of SFI. Its almost 15 years of existence, it's actual location and its membership. 2. In your second paragraph you should be able to explain SFI business model in a simple term - Most of the people that do not know the how SFI works just quit after few log-in, they feel overwhelmed. Study the SFI basics and the Launchpad for this purpose.

There are 3 things that I include in my first email. I make it in summarized form so that it's short but with substance.

1. Something that would build his confidence in SFI.

I usually give him few important information about SFI, how long the company have existed, the company's physical address and how many are joining daily.

2. I assure him that I am committed to help him succeed in SFI

I tell him to contact me any time if he needs help. I also give him different ways to contact me. Inside SFI website, email, Skype and Facebook.

3. I give him short over view of different ways to earn at SFI.

I summarize the compensation plan, they can earn from different commissions from different types of affiliates and a share from company's profit if he qualify.

What he needs to do then is to find affiliates and to qualify to get the share of company's profit by earning points.

With the biggest success of SFI, it is not surprising that many cyber criminals will try to either steal or destroy SFI and its affiliates.

Last month, my commission was stolen by a hacker but this incident has increased my trust in SFI. SFI have recovered my stolen commission and gave it back to me.

I am always reading Gery's updates on this cyber attacks and I am discussing them with my downlines. This is the way I reassured them and not to be dismayed because SFI has the capacity and knowledge how to counter these attacks.

SFI does not only counter the attacks technically thought their IT professionals but is in fact cooperating with FBI to bring the culprit to justice.

So this is what I do to encourage my downline to just continue with their activity with SFI; I am emphasizing to them the confidence that I have with SFI since I joined 1 and half years ago. I am telling them my experiences with SFI, like the one I mentioned above.

For those of you who don't have much experience yet with SFI to share, you can build the confidence of your downlines by sharing the actions that SFI is doing for this latest cyber attack.

The most importantly, assist them personally on how to get back to their normal activities. In my my case I have 5 affiliates who had problem logging in, I contacted them through skype and assisted them until they regain back their access.

2. Earning Versa Points to get and maintain a rank.

You have to maintain at least an Executive Affiliate (EA) rank in order to have a share in the executive pool. This rank is based on the number of versa points you earn.

You earn this points automatically if you set a Standing Order (SO) that gives you 1500 VP. You can do this automatically if you have money.

Autoresponders are great tools for mass sending letters. Nevertheless, you should pay attention to one of its weakness, it remove the personal touch that almost all people who receive emails want to read.

Given that autoresponders are not for personal emails you should be able to maximize its content to make it relevant to your potential affiliates.

Yes, you must have an outline of the information you want to convey to your prospects. Here is my suggestion:

1. You must be able to present the stability of SFI. Information like years of existence, and its physical location.

2. You must be able to present how he can earn from SFI. Define the different streams of income. Direct Commission, commision from CSA and ECA, Executive pool, being an ECA, SFIPPA and prices and winning from Pricebenders.

3. Define the success factors - Explain what will make him successful with SFI. Like sponsoring and duplication, personally earn VP to qualify for the rank.

Two things that you should remember when writing you emails. Keep it concise, meaning short but complete. Review and revise your email and let someone check on it before you send it.

This is already done by many but not inside SFI because its not allowed. Most of these are conveniently done in a Group in Face Book.

We Filipinos have created a group in Face Book where we invited all Filipino members of SFI to join the group and discuss and ask question in our own language.

It has benefited not only Filipino affiliates but also sponsors (with different nationalities) who have Filipino affiliates. They are suggesting to their Filipino affiliates to join the group so that they don't need to speak in English.

The greatest benefits we get is we can assure all Filipino SFI members that we are in the right program. What we just need to do is to help one another to make it work. We discuss no hold-barred questions about our SFI business. All my Filipino PSA are there and all have confidence with SFI.

Once in awhile we are uploading tips and good practices.

There are important rules however to be followed in this kind of forum. We should see to it that it wont be used for cross solicitation. We prohibit advertising other online opportunities and we as moderators are quick to delete and warn those who will try.
