For sure I will learn to advertise for my own PSAs , PRMs, and TC products, auctions, games, and the music contest. I will no longer depend on others doing that for me. I want to improve the chance of recruiting active new affiliates.

I will treat my ECA business like a real business through professional service and by advertising it on its own merits as well as being part of the global mall of TC.

I will commit to buying, not just TCredits, but also many products that I would normally use.

I will also look for ebooks, blogs, real books, and other information from TC, online, libraries, and stores that will increase my knowledge of advertising,sales, marketing, and running an online business.

Because our emphasis is now on an active team instead of scratching for AVPs, I will do all I can towards training, advising, and leading my DDs and other team members.

This year I will change my tactics from minimal investments of time and money to putting in what it takes. I know that I can find the time,money, and energy to do this by sorting and rearranging my daily activities.

I will also try to complete my VP gathering early in the month and encourage my team to do the in order to avoid end of the month stress and disasters, and to help my sponsor plan his activities.

I seem to be running at adds with most of the other affiliates where this question is concerned. While I allow my affiliates to be-friend me on Facebook, I do not encourage it, nor do I use Facebook or even read it on a daily or weekly basis. I have several reasons for this.

I find that Facebook is very distracting, I can spend hours a day on it. I don't have that excess time. I also do not watch TV for the same reason. Time is money. Yes, I have lots of friends and family who use this media for all communication. They send good stories, great informative articles, family photos, events, etc. I post "share its" for products from TripleClicks and some product write-ups.

Since I have lots of friends and their children who write me, I have many different personalities that show up. Not all of them are family friendly. I have de-friended some of them, but also think that I might have a good influence on some of them, so I keep those even when I do not appreciate their comments or language. Should I encourage my PSAs to read my friends comments? Not most of them. Why waste the time?

Same for the games. I have several friends who spend hours everyday building pretend businesses and whatever. What if they spent that time playing SFIVILLE? I certainly do not wish for my teammates to play those games.

Also, SFI has provided us so very many ways to communicate with our teams, why take them out of the system and use this kind of "private" venue? I know it can be private or public. But why steer them out and away from SFI communication? SFI does encourage us to use our private email to contact our PSAs and CSAs but for a specific purpose to get around the lack of whitelisting and spam filters.

Therefore, I don't think we should further engage our team in using Facebook or other social media. Atleast not the social pages.

Facebook does have a provision for business accounts and Topical groups that can be used for advertising, but care must be used in regards to what you print, how you print it, and who you allow to join, and the moderation.

We need to be helpful to our team members. This help comes in the form of teaching, explaining, encouraging, coming along side, and everything else that helps the member to become more successful at running and expanding his business, at becoming a more talented sponsor, and more of a compassionate human being.

Helping usually does not include doing his work for him, teach him how, nor does it include always giving him TCredits and Gift Certificates so he can buy his way out of trouble.

We want to offer our help always to our whole team, even the inactive ones, but we can not force them to accept our help. Do you want to send him a reassignment, TCredits, Gift Certificates, offer a reward for a contest or challenge? Then ask him first if he would like to receive what you want to give or participate in a contest. If he does not answer, don't go forward with your plan. Give him the responsibility of accepting that type of help.

On the other hand if you find that an affiliate only reacts to your special offers of help, then maybe he has fallen into a dependency. A person like this must be taught to work on his own and not rely on your time and money. Do not despise him because his own government may have taught him this mindset, just teach him that he has the power to build his own business with you and SFI.

Many people just flat out do not like to sell things. They don'y understand that a "no" is not to be taken personally. They don't want to lose friends. They are afraid to talk to strangers. They think they have to buy the product in bulk to fulfill the sales. They don't know what to say. They won't pay for ads. They don't know where to advertise for free. With over 80,000 products to choose from, they don't know what to sell.

Have you heard any of these excuses? If you haven'y, you probably haven't tried to get your team to sell anything from TripleClicks. Or your team is unresponsive to your communications.

To get them interested in selling from TC, you must first show them their benefits for selling those products, then you must take down each of their excuses. One excuse after another, show them how to get around each excuse. Focus on THEIR needs.

For instance if they do not want to talk to friends, family, or strangers about buying the products, then point them to using the written word.They can do that with paid and free ads. You may have to walk them through a few ad placements before they are comfortable with it. You can help them choose the product. And you can guide them in narrowing and finding their target customers.

Once you have your PSAs selling products, or at least putting out ads, you can explain the advantage of teaching their PSAs to do the same. You may have to spend time and effort helping them, but this will lead to time leveraging and big benefits to the whole team.

You tell him that you help people build teams all over the world who buy and sell products from people all over the world. You free them from the captivity of where they live. No longer is the outback too far away from the world to make a living. Therefore you are changing lives.

When he asks how, you tell him that it would be easier for both of you if he signed up and went through the material. That you will explain things to him when he needs help, and that all he needs is right there in the training.

If you can sit with him as he signs up and for the first things he does, like the Start, Basics, LaunchPad, Compensation Plan, To Do List and Red Tabs. That will pretty much get him started right, earn his Fast Track, and you can answer questions all along. Point out how easy it has been for him.

If you have been blocked by an affiliate in your team, it was not because of lack of communication. Chances are you were trying to be that Awesome Sponsor and stepped on someone's toes with
1) something that he didn't want to hear, or
2) sent too many communications (along with those from SFI/TC, his upline, and his co-sponsor), or
3) your letters were boring, and had no new information that he needed or thought he needed, or
4) he has previous experience with this sort of business and doesn't want help.

People with reasons 1 & 4 probably are not great candidates for being Awesome PSAs and learning how to duplicate. In the case of a CSA, he may have an Awesome Sponsor already working with him and not want conflicting instructions. As we are told, work with the workers. If someone is not willing to receive your comments, he is not one of your workers, even if he shows up on your Movers List.

People using reason 2 may tell you that there was too much mail. If you get this reason, consider what you can do to send fewer communications to your team. Not everyone will dislike lots of mail, but you never know who will block you when. Another reason people think there is too much mail is that they need to translate everything they get relating to this business. If they are lazy or have limited time on the computer, they will not want to spend much time for translation. If you have a large group speaking one language, send a translation at the top or bottom of your letter. Use the genealogy filters to help you with this.

People hinting at reason 3 are tired of long, redundant letters that are aimed at the Newbies and inactive affiliates. You must improve your letters, shorten them up, or make them easy to read by breaking them into sections with sub-titles. Use the genealogy filters to sort out who is new and who needs real meat and potatoes in your letters and then feed it to them.

We are not told who has blocked us Depending on the size and activity of our team, we may know who has done this, or not. It presents a drain in our time if we continue to send eCards, team mail personally written for that person, etc. We spend time trying to help them and they are not even reading our mail. This is one reason we should work with the workers and in preparation, teach our team about the whys, what-fors, and results of blocking an upline.

It is wise to often take a hard look at your communications and improve on them as you can.

Stop and think why it is smart to invest cash into your PSAs. Would it be better if you didn't? What are they learning when you send them TCredits or Gift Certificates. Does it help or hinder them? does it really help you? What happens when you no longer have the funds to continue the hand outs?

There are several reasons why you might give cash or TCredits to PSAs
1. You might be running a contest to stimulate them to specific actions
2. You may be rewarding them for past actions and achievements.
3. You might be giving them that little "help" to reach their goals, or your goal for them.

If they get used to your benevolence, will they perform at their best when you have to stop giving out the treats?There is a good chance that they will think that you have given up, and they will give up.

While the random reward or help will stimulate the recipient to work harder, generally it is not permanently beneficial.

What is a more permanent approach to keeping your PSAs fired-up about working SFI is your weekly communications
1. recognizing their success,
2. telling them about your struggles and successes,
3. giving them new ideas for old challenges,
4. teaching them how to do something that they have been avoiding
5. giving them some uplifting quotes
6. suggesting books on success, positive attitude, marketing.
7. teaching the benefits to them and their team of duplication
8. helping them make sales

There is a lot of things we can do to keep our PSAs active without giving them money. These 8 ideas can take most of a year to develop. In that time there should be some real excitement building as the team grows.

I believe, you don't speak English. From where you stand, you will be working with English speaking individuals, people who speak your language, and people who speak other languages.Plan now how best to communicate with them. Then tell your prospects that you have experience with this and you are sure they will fit right in. Tell them you will always be available for help.

Not speaking English, you have already used the translators and know the ins and outs of that You will be able to speak from experience and guide the non-English speakers through their early training days and beyond.

It will be much easier for you to sponsor people who speak your language, you just have to show them the translator and then monitor their understanding of SFI. As they become more steady on their feet, you can suggest a2a friends with the same language and the Forum with the Categories of your Country and Region.

People who speak a third language may be a little harder to convince to join. You will have more work helping them get started, but they will have to translate your language and English. They may not want to do all of that.

If you have time, you can translate your letters to them and their letters to you. That could take a lot of time, time you won't have with a big team.They must be taught to do it themselves.No successful businessman has someone else do all his work.

You will find that these people need to become excited about SFI. Give them some facts and figures.Tell them some success stories. Get them excited about their hopes and dreams. Assure them that they can do it and you will help.

If you do speak English, then you must tell them about the translators, the Forum rooms for them, and about the many others who do not speak English but who have succeeded.

There are actually a few benefits to receiving non-active PSAs from your sponsor.

1) If you have no PSAs or CSAs, having even dormant PSAs reassigned to you will give you a name to work with in the Genealogy. You can now see how several of the tabs work. If you have several reassigned to you, then you can see more of the actions of the Genealogy.

2) You will also see how your Movers list works.

3) You can now earn your 120 vp per month for communicating with downline using the mailers.

4) If you have no a2a friends, then you may now write Stream messages and earn 12 vp per month.

5) Since they are not active and maybe not even reading your emails, you can experiment with styles of letters that you write, the information you put in them, and the timing during the week without being afraid of doing damage to an active business.

6) Since you don't know if someone who appears dormant is reading your emails until they appear on your Movers list, you will want to treat them as if they are valuable to you, which they are. Just like a nursery garden that is planted with hundreds of baby tulip bulbs, looks totally dead, and no flowers sprout out at the beginning of growing season for a year or two, your Movers list may very well come to bloom when the time is right for the dormant Affiliates.

Using all of the above, you will already be confident in your leadership when you gather active PSAs..

Of course, not all dormant afilliat3es will come to life. In that case, they will just fall off your Condensed Genealogy onto your Full Genealogy, and eventually be purged out of SFI. No harm done to you and in the meantime you gained valuable knowledge and had the chance of making the commissions from their activity.

Of course, those that actually become successful with help grow your commission check.

TC Direct Products are those products and services that are ordered through and shipped by SFI/TC. They include the TCredits, S Builders, PSAs to Go, etc. But I am not going to discuss those.

I will discuss the tangible products that you can order from TC, the Natural Cleaning Products, the
Health Care Products that are great substitutes for the products we buy every week for our own personal use.

While the VP and MRP are at a higher percentage for the TC Direct digital products, like TCredits, because they require no manufacture or shipping costs, the tangible products, like the Hair/Body Shampoo, are more inline with the products from the ECAs where VP and MRP are concerned.

The biggest advantage of buying TC Direct products is the effect we get from branding ou rSFI/TC products. If a customer has bought and likes one product he will recognize the other products and be willing to try them. And we gain sales.

Products that I use and like are numerous. I like the Natural Cleaning supplies because they are both economical and work well. The ALL purpose Cleaner does just that, ALL. It has a natural surfactant, that is derived from citrus fruits that both breaks up grease and oils, but also is an insecticide. So I wash the dog's bed in it.

This and the other cleaners are concentrated so that we pay for very little plain water when we buy and ship a bottle. We put the needed water in when we use it.Most of the cleaners use varying strengths for the various jobs.

The window cleaner and the hand dish detergent, and the All Purpose Cleaner are my favorites.
