This is a hot topic and difficult to answer.
As a team leader, I do my best to consistenly be in communication with my downline and, make sure that my progress and actions are visible to them. As you may already know, your downline will only do as you do; they will duplicate your actions, if they inspire to be like you or better. But, all of that is based on their personal needs and inspiration they have for you and themselves. However, as a team leader, you are not in control of the actions of your downline. You are simply a vessel of motivation, inspiration, support and instruction to them. You cannot stop anyone from quitting and/or giving up, thus, you are not always aware of the reasons your downline may have for quitting and/or giving up. From experience, validation is not something that many affiliates look for; their minds are set by the time they are ready to leave. Many affiliates choose not to respond to any correspondence, which make it extra difficult to know where they stand, presently.
The best advice is to be sure that you do your all for your downline. First is constant communication and coaching, regardless if they respond or not. Acknowledge them for their efforts and progress- that instantly, let's them know that you are watching them. Reward them for their achievements; make them feel special and appreciated to be on your team. With that being said, many affiliates may revise their thinking before quitting and/or giving up, especially if they see that you are consistent with your standing orders on a monthly basis; and, earning mega versapoints on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Creating free conference calls, a facebook group page, and skyping may be a great way to keep your downline connected, motivated, and inspired to remain in the SFI business. Remember that your downline is indeed a reflection of you, in many different ways, so think before you act and/or react to them. Treat them as you would want to be treated with respect, dignity and integrity, at all times.

Any affiliate who want to create their own website is definitely serious about their SFI business. This affiliate is ready to be successful in SFI. Creating your own website for your SFI business is a sign of independence, entrepreneurship, and ambition. This affiliate will need support from his/her upline; constant coaching will be required of the sponsor/co-sponsor to make sure that the affiliate has set up their website correctly and appropriately. The content of the website is critical because this website will have the ability and availability to be searched by everyone and anyone. These websites are normally used for reviews of the SFI business. These websites are a worldwide representation of the SFI business.
This action is actually a positive action from any affiliate provided that they have the right coaching and support from their upline. Be thankful to have an affiliate who chooses to create their website to promote their SFI business, that turns into success and prosperity for you, as long as you do your part as their upline.

How do you explain to new affiliates what VersaPoints are and what they are used for?

Earning Versapoints is like signing up for a Rewards and Recognition Program with SFI. Versapoints are points you are awarded, as an affiliate for your daily actions completed from your to-do list. Your to-do list is like your assignment outline for the day, week, and month. It is like your bible or tour map for you to follow in order to be successful in SFI.
Versapoints, let's you know where you stand with the SFI company. The more you earn, the more you make, and the more your receive in your Tripleclick Executive Pool. That is why it is imperative for all affiliates to log in everyday for just few minutes, and complete as much as they can from their to-do list. That is the main requirement of the SFI game.

Should we recruit our family members into SFI? Good idea or not?

After all, SFI is open to all. And, creating a downline is a basically a numbers game. Therefore, communicating with everyone who has the ability to read and follow directions is prime. Family members may be your first Executive Affiliates with a standing order of 1500 Versapoints, creating a great support system for you and your team, due to their direct links to you and your persoonal goals. That is a postive aspect.
But, on the flip side(negative), family members may join your team and not progress at all, due to jealousy. Unfortunately, this aspect may exist due to your personal situation.
My advice is not let SFI be a secret to your surroundings. Spread the word to everyone, like that you may flourish by simply sharing the opportunity and inspiring others via your personal experiences. Besides, who knows you best besides your family.

How can I convince my downline of the benefits of having a Standing Order without them feeling pressured?

The idea is to simplify the concept of the Standing Order- If you consider SFI to be a game, that you play on a regular basis and anxious to move to the next level, one will automatically see the importance of establishing a monthly Standing Order.
A Standing Order is simply a requirement of the SFI game. Like every game, there are rules and regulations to follow in order for one to reach great heights. SFI is actually no different from any internet saga, people play for pleasure.
With that being said, the feelings of pressure should be lifted. Success comes with obstacles at all times, and a standing order is the obstacle SFI affiliates face on a monthly basis, to reach their goals. That is just the way the game is created. By all means, a standing order is 1500 versapoints- feel free to demonstrate many other aspects to demonstrating 1500 versapoints without a standing order, as well. Giving options to your affiliates demonstrates flexibility and relieves the feelings of pressure.

How does one support all your downline affiliates if you have barely enough to support your own self?

The best support a Team Leader can give to their downline is the support of Acknowledgment and Recognition. It feels good to be acknowledged for every step you make, as you progress. Acknowledgement and recognition demonstrate the importance of having this particular affiliate on your team. An affiliate who knows that their efforts are valuable will look to move forward, as they see you do on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
And, as they move forward in acquiring versapoints, you may assist them in building a team by assigning them to your S-builder Co-op, as a reward for their efforts.

I almost gave up on SFI. What did you do to keep pushing forward?

I am in my 5th month with SFI and I must say that I almost gave up too. But, I remained in the game by staying connected with all the correspondences received by corporate and uplines. I am pleased and very delighted to have such great upline members on my team. Their commitment and motivation to inspire me, has assisted me in staying in the game and working thoroughly for me to reach my breakthrough. Nothing comes easy. It takes something to reach success. You must look from within yourself and give up something. Yes, give up something and let go. Let go of your fears, doubts and frustrations. Many of you loose faith and drown in doubt when your downline is not moving forward. The truth is that they are not moving because of you. There is something for you to give up in order for your downline to become productive. Your downline is a reflection of you. You set it off. The secret is to look from within to produce duplication. Duplication is multiplying yourself, commitment, dedication, perserverance and efforts. Positive thoughts and affirmations are building blocks to your success. Star a journal and create goals and milestones. This is a great tool to the beginning of your success. Trust me, do it, it works! Success is spiritual before it reaches the physical realm. It takes form in the spiritual realm first, if you can envision it. Yes, envision where you want to be and claim it. Act as if you are already there and watch and see what happens. All of your dreams will come to reality automatically. It is worth the try. Remember, it starts with you and it finishes with you. You are either your best friend or your worst enemy. Choose your status wisely.

How do I get my a2a friends to offer positive support and assistance?

Lead by example- if you post positivity, therefore your a2a friends will follow and do the same. a2a is a method used to create the possibility of positive connections and contacts among affiliates. It is a great way to notice one's accomplishments via accomplished SFI badges. a2a friendships create a sense of motivation inspiration and commitment for me. It keeps me grounded and focus to do more and reach greater heights each month.
What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

Fortunately, you really do not need to know a whole lot of people, in order to be successful in SFI. You can build a growing network of affiliates via Pricebendder auctions by winning PSA's and CSA's, and/or setting up an advertising campaign via S-Builder Co-op. The idea is to get fully involved with the tools that SFI offers to you as an affiliate, and you shall see how your business will flourish and blossom, as you read and follow instructions provided by SFI.
