I want to use an autoresponder on my website. What information do I need to provide to potential Affiliates in follow-up emails?

The key to a good auto-responder follow-up series is to trickle information. Keep their interest, but don't overload them with info in one letter. In each letter, pick one aspect of SFI, explain what it is, then explain how it will benefit the reader. Some people are analytical and will respond to the 'how it works" part of the message. Others are more emotional and need to see the "how do I benefit" part of your message.
Space messages about 2 days apart for the first 5-8 messages, then, to avoid wearing out your welcome, decrease the frequency to once a week or so, keeping them updated on SFI news.
Always end every letter with a call to action.

What's best to sell at TripleClicks? Cheap things or more expensive/more valuable items?

A few weeks ago, I would have answered "E-books" to this question, as there is no shipping cost. But since some members ruined that for us by insisting on selling books they did not have the rights to sell, that option is gone. Since shipping costs for international shipments often end up being more than the cost of the item, I still recommend minimizing or eliminating shipping costs if possible. If you can offer services such as web hosting or advertising, once again you can eliminate shipping charges. An other option is to make sure you deal in small, relatively valuable for their weight items, such as jewellery or watches. Your only other option for minimizing shipping is to only ship to your own country, but this greatly reduces your target market, so I do not recommend this route.

I want to start a newsletter for my team of affiliates. Which topics should I focus on?

I would focus on two things. First, and probably most important, motivation. It seems that the majority of the people who sign up to SFI quit before they even get started. If you can motivate your team to make an effort, you have already won half the battle. The second thing I would focus on is training them in various methods for recruiting. Teach them about online advertising sources. Give them ideas for offline advertising. Encourage them to be creative when recruiting.
How do you respond when someone asks you about SFI?

Since I have won a few Pricebenders auctions, that is always the first thing I mention. Usually gets some interest. Once I have piqued their curiousity, I mention the other benefits of Tripleclicks. I have found that most people understand the auction and e-commerce aspects of SFI right away, so Pricebenders and Tripleclicks have been my best prospecting features.
How does one support all your downline affiliates if you have barely enough to support your own self?

Worry about yourself first. It is not your job to hand out money to anyone, downline or upline. You support your downline by training, encouragement, etc. Never feel obligated to pay them in any form. If they are unwilling to invest a bit of time and money in the business, then they are not likely to succeed anyway. You cannot be expected to carry the weight of others. If people are just looking for a hand-out, best ignore them and focus on the workers.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but SFI is a business, not a charity.

What are the best ways to use the WAVE3 X-Cards?

The X-Cards are best used when you have a chance to explain SFI or Tripleclicks to a person, then hand out the card so they will have your personal URL. For example, someone sees your Tripleclicks sticker on your vehicle and asks what it is. Briefly explain Tripleclicks to them, then hand out the card. Giving a card is important because otherwise they end up just going to the main site with your referral ID.
How can I convince my downline of the benefits of having a Standing Order without them feeling pressured?

Just outline the benefits. They will either understand, and sign up. Those you can work with. Or they will ignore you. Those ones are here for a free ride. Don't sweat over them. Work with those willing to invest in their business. Offer encouragement to the others, but after mentioning the benefits of a standing order, let it be. No one has time to hold everybody's hand for them.
What are some good incentive offers for prospects to encourage people to join my SFI team?

I have tried offering incentive in the past and found it didn't work out well. It gave me affiliates who we always looking for more hand-outs instead of doing the work themselves. For this reason, I have stopped giving incentives to join. Now I only give incentives to my top workers. I will reward hard work, not merely filling out a form.
To those who are working hard, the TripleClicks gifts cards are great. You can often win a bunch of them pretty cheap on the Pricebenders auctions. They can be a great motivation to get them to also check out what is available on TripleClicks. I have had several affiliates who have worked very hard going about the daily routine of clicking to earn VersaPoints without realising the true business with SFI, where the money is made, is in TripleClicks. Giving them a gift card encouraged them to check out the store, and got them into more purchases later.

What are the best SFI marketing tools to use with young persons who may be unemployed or under-employed?

Since someone who is unemployed probably has little free money, but much free time, the best advertising resources are those that are free, but time intensive.
Traffic exchanges, if you join as a free member, require you to surf a lot of pages to be effective. So an unemployed person could devote a couple hours a day surfing to build credits to advertise SFI. The danger is that they will see many other offers and may get distracted. The last thing you want to do is start joining a dozen other programs and lose focus.
Safelist also take time. They are not terribly effective, but they are free. The trick with a safelist is to create a junk e-mail account to use as your list e-mail so your main address does not get flooded with mails. Many safelists are ignored though for this reason. The other members are also using an e-mail address they rarely check. For this reason, the better safelists are credit based. You cannot send mails unless you earn credits reading mails. For this reason, they also require investing time. The same warning about not getting distracted applies here.
Blogging and article writing can be effective, and definitely take time to do properly. You can get free blog hosting from several sources, and if you blog regularly about interesting topics, you will likely get a following. Put SFI ads on the blog and some people will be interested. Article writing is similar, except you use other people's blogs. Some people want to keep a blog fresh with new content but do not wish to write themselves so they get articles from article directories. If you submit an article with links to SFI, when another blog owner publishes the article, he also publishes your link.

What do I need to do to become a successful ECA?

To be a successful ECA, you need to make sure you have products that people want. If you already have an offline business with products that are both popular, and easy to ship, you are already off to a great start. Now it is a matter of getting those products advertised. One of the great things about SFI is that others can do a lot of that advertising for us. Connect to a lot of people in A2A and your store will start appearing on their tConnect pages.
Because of shipping costs, many people start an ECA store with digital products. If you go this route, what I said about having a product people want still applies. Simply slapping a few second-rate e-books you have resell rights to is not enough as there are hundreds of those already. If you are going to sell e-books, writing your own will help make yours stand out. And if you are going to re-sell other peoples books, make sure you cull the bad ones and only sell quality product.
Another way to succeed in digital products is to cover a niche that no one else is covering, especially if that is a niche that you happen to have knowledge in. There are tons of traffic generating ECA products out there, so that might not be the best niche to try to fill. Instead look for something less crowded.
I hope this is helpful.
