I've won the Pick The Price Contest a few times , and so I can only tell you what has worked for me.

First and foremost, you must play often...face it, if you're not in the game, you can't win!

Here is my list of things I do for this contest...

1. I play often
2. I pick one item only (it may be listed more than once for different times, this is ok...play all times listed) example: 300 pack T-Credits with auctions listed at 24 min., 1 hr 15 min., and 2 hrs. It's one item but played 3 times.
3. Look at the history of item picked (be sure to look at the times)
4. Place your guess based on what you've seen with it's history and time

Typically speaking, as the auction times get later and later, your guess should be less and less.

The question of "How Do I..." is focusing on the wrong thing in my opinion. Whether it's getting someone to duplicate, get a standing order, or anything else. I believe the best thing for you...and others wanting to figure out how to get someone to do anything would be focusing on the wrong thing. Instead of placing your focus on "How Do I", just focus on doing everything that you can do for your business and, yes...this does mean explaining the importance of something to your down-line associates. The one's that want to build their business will automatically start doing exactly what you've suggested once they see you doing the same thing. If you look to your left on this...and most all pages on SFI, you'll see your badges; your associates too can see your badges and this will show them that you too are duplicating your up-line. Lead by example...always. Just remember, not everyone that becomes an associate will go on to become an EA so, if your're spending all your time and energies on trying to figure out "how to...", then you too will be slowed down in building your SFI business. Just remember..."some will, some won't, so what", just move on. It may sound a little callus but, you can't make any and every associate "do anything". The best you can do is explain the importance of something and then just lead by example. It was the "basics" that got you to EA so when in doubt, just return to the basics! To Your Success!

Hi, you know...quite a few affiliates ask that same question or, they don't ask and end up just taking a guess so first, I'd like to applaud you for asking this question.
In my opinion, when signing up a new ECA, You should spend a little time showing them how to log onto the site first and how to navigate throughout Triple Clicks. I would even show them how to log into and navigate SFI as well since their new customers will be affiliates of SFI. It would also give them a first hand tour of your business and you just might end up with a new affiliate...if not right away, in the future once they see their new venture with Triple Clicks continue growing. I would show them other ECA stores so they can get an Idea as to what they might want to place in their own store however, I wouldn't suggest Items unless they first asked me directly what they might consider. The reason for this opinion is because I would want to show them respect, respect for them as well as respect in them knowing their business...after all, this new ECA store is their business, just a new location. Yes, it can have a direct impact on your business and your income; this is why I would spend some time helping them logging in, navigating, and just answering general questions. I want them to feel comfortable in their new venture because, as they become more and more at ease with their ECA store, you'll find your relationships with them grow as well as your income. Like I said earlier, they just might see exactly what you've seen all along and ask you how they can become an affiliate with SFI.

First and foremost,I would respond with enthusiasm. I would ask them questions so that I could see what they know or think they know and I would be completely honest with them. This is a real business and does take a real effort to build however, for those who are serious about having an international online business and understand what it takes to grow it will be thankful for your honesty.

First, let me ask you a question if I may. I understand that there are many companies out there that bombard you with opportunities however, if you've spent any time with SFI, why would you even consider turning your focus on anything else?

There are several reasons why I ask this.

1. SFI has a proven track record for the past 16 years.
2. SFI has teamed up with Triple Clicks which gives you more opportunities.
3. SFI has I believe eleven possible income streams for you to make money.
4. Turning your focus only starts you back at a beginning...losing any momentum you've gained.
5. Finally, and I believe this is the most important of all; the net is full of people who never succeed. I've heard that only about 10% of the people trying to make money actually do make a little, and only about 5-7% of the people make a second income. 3% make $75,000.00 to $150,000.00 a year, and only 1% make more than a million dollars per year. The biggest reason these numbers are so small as far as how many people find any real success is because of one thing and one thing only...people don't stay focused for a long enough period of time on any one thing; they jump from one shiny new thing to the next without putting in the time with the one system that could help them achieve financial independence! Of course, the second biggest reason is because they haven't found an opportunity that delivers what they promise.

SFI delivers on everything they say and much much more!

I'll end this with my original question I asked earlier.

Although free advertising is cost effective, especially if money is an issue; paid advertising is always the best way to go since you are able to target those you wish to reach. Targeted traffic is the traffic in which the recipients are actually interested in what it is you have to offer. Paid advertising does just that, it targets your advertising dollars being spent on those people who are open to that which you have to offer; this in return gives you the best opportunity to get the most out of your advertising. Although, some would argue that since you don't spend money on free advertising, it doesn't cost you anything if your advertising isn't as targeted however, I strongly disagree since, any time spent doing anything is done at a cost. Time is money. It is a batter use of both your time and your money thereforeI believe to target your advertising dollars through paid advertising and in return, you gain a better response for your advertising dollars and you free up some of your time. The single most Important thing that I should be doind as a new Team Leader, which by the way, I am, is to "lead by example".

Everything I've read within all the training sections talk about "duplication".

If SFI believes duplication is of such importance that they would mention it time and time again, then I believe it is the most important thing that I should be doing...as a new or long time Team Leader!

Now, if duplication is the most important aspect of the SFI Business Model, then by duplicating my Sponsor, Co-Sponsor, and every other Team Leader that has gone before me, I know that I am teaching those that look at me and what I'm doing in my SFI Business is exactly what SFI teaches in their Training Sections, as well as what all of the other Leaders who've gone before me have done or are currently doing. That to me is "Leading By Example".

I don't tell some affiliates one thing while other affiliates are trying something else entirely different; could you imagine trying to run a successful business where by your right hand doesn't know what your left hand is doing and neither hand knows what your body is doing?

SFI tells us over and over that we do not need to re-invent the wheel and that if we just duplicate those who've gone before, then we can expect to find our own successes.

"Lead By Example" by duplicating what other successful Leaders have done and you will be doing what I believe is the single most important thing that you and I should be doing!

One last side note if I may: I'd like to thank SFI and Our Leaders for setting up this section..."Ask SC". Once again, SFI shows us just how important it is to duplicate those who've gone before through the submission of answers that help guide all of us. Thank You.

If you or anyone else for that matter wants to get the maximum benefits being an SFI affiliate, you would first have to make the decision that this is what you want, and that you will not be happy with anything less. Now, I'm not talking about saying you've made the decision; I'm saying you need to internalize your decision deep down inside. Most people will say, "I'll try this" or even "yeah, ok...I'll do this business". Unfortunately, this type of commitment isn't a commitment at all. My father taught me that there are two types of people in this world. He said there are the ones that will try things and then there were those who would just do it. My father said that if you say you'll try something, then don't bother wasting anyones time because you'll never stay the distance. Be a doer...make the decision deep down and then just do it!

Just so you understand why I say it takes this type of decision and commitment from you is that this isn't an easy thing to do...building an International Online Business. Think about it, if it were easy, everyone would be doing this. It's going to take time and effort. There will be times you think, ok...I've now got enough people on my team and all of a sudden, someone quits...or you find that you left something out of your advertising and the ad campaign just cost you time and money. If you haven't internalized your commitment, you probably won't stay the distance. You need to understand that this is real and that everything you do today determines your tomorrow.

Once you've made the decision and commitment "to build your SFI Business" (notice I didn't say try), then it's time to become a student of the business. It's time to read and re-read everything that you can about SFI and Triple Clicks. Ask questions of your sponsor and co-sponsor. Listen to the people who've gone before you, they are where you want to be so show that you appreciate their knowledge by putting into action the things they tell you will help move your business forward.

Not only do you need to become a student of the SFI Business Model but, now you need to become a student of marketing and advertising as well as coaching once you start building your team.

I guess in short; if you want to get the maximum benefits from your being an SFI affiliate, you need to make the decision to build your business, make the commitment to your sponsor but more importantly...to yourself, become a student of not only the SFI and Triple Clicks Business Model but also a student of marketing, advertising, coaching, and mentoring others. It takes nothing short of this if you really want to get the maximum benefits of being an SFI Affiliate!

Sounds like it's more than what you thought building a business on the net would be like? I'm no Guru, I myself am just a Bronze Team Leader and I'll tell you no lies. What I will tell you is that if you want it; if you want that International Online Business that will give you the ability to replace your job and bring you home where you'll be able to become a husband and a father again, and if you want to build something that will allow you to live life well into your golden years with a residual income that is much higher than a social security check, then this is where you can do it.

Here's the icing on the cake if you will; it's not going to be near as hard nor will it take 40 years to build. This doesn't need to be all consuming. You can make the decision, the commitment and become a student of all you need to learn in just a few hours a day. If you were working just eight hours a day in your job (and most work more), then if you could have the lifestyle you want with only half those hours...only four hours a day, would you be upset? Well, what if it only took you a couple of hours a day? Happier? Instead of 40 years or even 20 years, what if it only took you ten years...or even less, would you think it was worth it?

This is how you get the maximum benefits from being a SFI Affiliate...It all starts with that decision!

To me, the only way to gain someones trust is to lead by example. Obviously, you cannot ask or even expect your downline affiliates to do something that you yourself aren't doing. Always be honest with them; if they ask you a question and you don't know the answer, be sure to tell them that you don't know however, the two of you will find out together. This will gain more trust than anything else that you could ever say to them.
Be sure to stay in touch with them as often as you can w/out being in their face so to speak and they will appreciate knowing that you genuinely care about them and their business. To Your Success.

Personally, I would not incorporate the use of an auto-responder with SFI. Yes, auto-responders are effective with IM sites however, I believe that you would rather incorporate a more personal touch in bringing on new affiliates to SFI. Once they've come on bored with SFI, using the group mailings for your PSA's and CSA's is really all you need.
