I myself have used Skype utilizing all methods of communication: text, voice, and video. I highly recommend the use of Skype in your SFI business. I personally have used Skype for quite some time and definitely suggest video because it cancels out any form of miscommunication that is often lost in text. It also really helps with building much more personal and business relationships because you can see facial expressions, and here the persons voice. Isn't that what business is all about? Besides, how else would you normally meet so many great people from around the world?

I think the TripleClicks TCards are a great marketing tool. To whom would you give the cards to and why?

I always keep a couple in my wallet. You never know when you will see an opportunity arise. The other day I only had one left and there were two college kids that saw the value in a $12 gift card. I made them rock, paper, scissors for it. I feel it added to the value.
I have also spoken about to my co-workers and bosses and have given them to them. Who doesn't like free money to spend? It is actually a quite simple marketing tool, that you can use in everyday life with just a bit of conversation. Don't try to seem pushy!

If sales isn't your strong suit, what should you focus on to create a full time income in SFI?

It is okay if you aren't good at sales! That's the great thing about SFI! There are so many options for you to make commissions! Simply create your OWN FREE online store with TripleClicks. Think of something you are passionate about, and sell items from those hobbies you enjoy. One of the things I really enjoy is cooking. I looked in TripleClicks and found there wasn't many items in the kitchen department. I knew in town that they had a kitchen store. I asked the owner if I can sell his products on TripleClicks, he said YES! Of course any business owner wants more sales, why would they say no?
Another great way to make commission is from your downline. The key is to continually build your downline. There are many outlets for advertising if you just look around. If you aren't computer savvy, utilize one of the co-ops that are offered, i.e. the SBuilder! There are also many other co-ops in TripleClicks, simply type "co-op" in the search bar in TripleClicks.
The important thing is DO NOT GIVE UP! I had a moment there when I almost did. I am sure glad I didn't! This program is awesome if you really put some real effort into it. I love having my own business, and more importantly, I am my own boss!

How can I motivate my friends to join SFI?

I ask them if they are looking for a side income, that could eventually lead to SFI being their full time job.
Let them know that SFI has the best support, (you being one of them), and let them know that once they get used to the system it truly is an easy job!
The greatest thing is that it's free to join!
How would you go about organizing a seminar to introduce new, high-quality SFI affiliates?

The key to this component of your advertising method would be having a network of some sort. That network would include, friends, family, Facebook friend, etc. Basically anyone that will take the time to hear/see your message and smiling face! Next, you would have to have a venue for the webinar, meaning a webinar room. Starting out as a new webinar person, a 500 seat room will probably do. I happen to know of places where you get one rented out to you if need be. (for expense purposes)
It takes time to feel comfortable with speaking in webinars, rest assured. The important thing is how you recover from mistakes and how you react to some people shenanigans. Be sure to have some sort of outline in front of you so that you can keep some sort of flow going. Act natural, no one wants to see a person that is a robot and reads word for word text. Smile. Throw a tasteful joke or two in to keep the webinar lighter. Figure out what you call to action is; here is my product, here is the price. If you are selling something on a webinar, be up from that there will be a product at the end to not lead people astray. HAVE FUN!
The organization of the webinar regarding receiving new affiliates would be like so...ask yourself these questions. What do I enjoy about SFI? Why is joining SFI an advantage? What can I learn from SFI? Is it hard? Can you make money? How long does it take to be successful? Once you have those questions answered, many more should start to flow. Just look within your SFI life and content will come. Hope this helped.

I know I should work with the workers, but how many follow-up messages should I send to inactive CSAs/PSAs before giving up on them?

You would be surprised how persistence and continual emails sometimes work. I am a perfect example of such. I didn't really start working with SFI until I received about 20 emails. It was because of that persistence that I found SFI. Sure, I regret not getting right to work because I missed out on the fast track, but knowing now what I didn't know then, I know that persistence is key.
Will moving up my personal rank in SFI help to gain more trust from my downline members and help fuel further growth?

While rank is a very important thing as far as commissions go, I think that the most important thing to gain trust from my downline is through communications and being there for them anytime they have a question, promptly. But it goes further; being sure about your answer, and taking the time to find links for easier answer finding. Also, posting quality information in your stream posts help a great deal. Saying "Have a great weekend", and posting the same message over and over conveys that you probably aren't too much into your affiliate-ship; Who is going to trust someone lazy? Trust is earned, not given!

I have affiliates come to me for help who are not part of my team--should I help them or send them away?

I look at it this way. Aren't we all part of the same team? Aren't we all utilizing SFI as a vehicle to succeed? I think it is great to get input from any source that can further me closer to success. Perhaps that person is outreaching to you because they're sponsor doesn't bother to help. Ultimately, we are all part of the same team. We are all part of the same downline, Mr. Gery Carson's!

I like to motivate my downline by any form of communication I can. I definitely prefer Skype as my main source for communications. It is very quick in comparison to email. I also try to motivate using team mail and the stream.
I like to give prizes as motivation. You can use the traditional methods, TCredits, gift certificates, affiliates...This month I bought some webcams and will throw that into the mix. What better incentives are there out there besides the immediate results! Be sure to ask them to contact you so that you are not giving your prizes that don't seem to have concern either way.
Gift the workers! Build their downlines....it is your downline after all, right?

What form of advertisement have you found to be most successful in sponsoring new affiliates?

Wow! That's a great question!
First and foremost, and if you feel comfortable, recruit from within. What I mean by that is talk to friends and family. Provided that they have a different IP address, it is a great start to building your downline most because you have personal relationship already established.
Secondly, start promoting online. There are many ways to advertise online, and there are free ways to advertise online such as traffic exchanges, safelists, and classifieds. Type "free online advertising" in your browsers search bar. If you have a budget, utilize the many different co-ops that are offered. Try talking to your upline, they may have one going!
When I first started, I used flyers as my method. It's a great approach if you are fearful of direct contact, and it was inexpensive. Post at gas stations, laundromats, colleges...
Purchase SFI/TripleClicks propaganda. i.e. TC Cards, SFI Cards, brochures, letterheads, etc. They are good to give out and make you look more professional. Drop those cards in with your tip at a restaurant, give them away at yard sales, anyone you talk to! The future is online business, and it is up to you to make happen!
