Let's address the "overwhelmed" part first. As a rule, I have no idea what my CSA's sponsor will or will not do. Therefore, I will do as much as I can for my CSAs. They know the Team Mail is from me. They choose to read it, or not. Their choice. I will never know whether they read it or not--unless they e-mail me back.

While the question specifically asks about CSAs, I make no distinction between my PSAs and my CSAs. The following is my rule of thumb for contacting my team:

Once a week I send a message to my whole team of CSAs and PSAs. It's the same message--I send it to my whole genealogy at once.

I also send encouraging personal messages every few days during their first 30 days. When they reach Round 6 of e365, I send them a congratulatory message. When they reach EA, I send them a certificate of accomplishment. Also, I send a certificate as they reach each level of leadership.

Anytime they e-mail, Skype, or call me, I get back to them as quickly as possible, usually in 24 hours.

When a CSA logs in and acquires some VP after being gone for a while, I send a message of appreciation and encourage them to come back again soon.

If my CSA's VP is significantly lower than it usually is at any point in the monthly cycle, I write them to see if they are okay, if there is something I can do to help them, and encourage them.

When the dreaded red arrow shows up on the Genealogy report, I send at least one message to let them know they are in danger of losing me--and I don't want to lose them. I encourage them to log in, gain some VP, remember what they wanted that they thought SFI would give them, to contact me so we could decide what the next step can be, and how I can help them.

My weekly team communication is rather long. All others are relatively short. If I'm answering a question, it's as long as it takes to answer.

My movers have saved me hours of time spend working on something they didn't need. Occasionally, I've had an idea that I thought would be helpful to my team. I've surveyed my movers (both PSAs and CSAs), and the feedback I get lets me know whether to go for it or forget it. I'm so grateful for that.

My CSAs and PSAs are individuals with dreams, hopes, needs, and desires, like most people on this planet. I am honored to have them on my team and have the privilege of assisting, encouraging, and motivating them. Therefore, I send my CSAs, as well as my PSAs, the information I would give to my other friends under the same circumstances.

SFI, with all of its advantages, isn't right for 80% or more of the PSAs and CSAs that sign up. Remember the 80/20 rule. Twenty percent of anything will do 100% of the work, the sales, the sponsoring.

Your job is to find that 20% that will work, that will sell, and that will sponsor. It may be you have to sponsor more to find that 20%. You send all 100% of your PSAs and CSAs all the information to help them make a favorable decision. Some facts, statistics, ideas, games, and tips will interest some people, and be of no interest to others.

Once you get the communication going both ways, then you can ask what help they need. Then you will learn, from the communication, what they are interested in, and how to approach them.

You really don't convince them. You offer them ideas, hopes, dreams, methods, and tips. From all of that, and the SFI website, they convince themselves.

If you are actually working SFI, you are working your own business. Then the reality is, you are investing in yourself. You invest your time, your money in business cards like WAV3 cards, TripleClicks cards, SFI cards, postcards, advertising, and often both time and money in learning new skills to assist you in growing your SFI business.

Now that you have invested both time and money, the question becomes "What are you going to do with what you have gained?" Will you invest additional time in handing out cards, mailing postcards, writing advertising, and using your new skills? Will you learn better presentation skills, better writing skills, and better research skills in finding new markets?

Or will you take the physical products you have, and let them set on a shelf. Will you let your new skills go un-tested and un-used?

Do you see how the investment is in you? The vehicle you use for your business is SFI. And the business is YOU!

The very best way to inspire and motivate someone is to know what they want, help them find a few ways to get it, then reward them for accomplishing that. The challenge is to find out what they really want.

For example: One of your affiliates wants to know how they can significantly increase their check next month. You ask what they will do with that money? (Money is rarely a motivator. What the money will do for them will keep them doing what it takes to earn it.) So you discuss ways of increasing their TripleClick sales this month. 1) Create an advertising campaign to attract new TripleClick members. 2) Send weekly emails to your PSAs and CSAs featuring TripleClick products that they would be interested in. 3) Help the affiliate (if needed) set up their TConnect page with products for a specific niche and help them find ways to advertise their TConnect page to that niche.

In this example, you know what they want--to significantly increase next month's check so they can get, do, or have something. Set the goal. The goal will be met when the income from commissions is equal or more than the cost of what they want, over the commissions from last month. (They can see their progress on their Scoreboard.) You have helped them find 3 ways to increase commissions.

At this point, you can just let them go ahead and do it. However, if you really want to see them reach that goal, set up a weekly, if not daily or twice weekly, accountability call. In that call you discuss what they have done and what results they have obtained. You stay positive and then encourage, support, inspire, and motivate them. Be excited for their progress. Analyze with them, if they are not where they want to be, and help them find ideas how tthey can do better.

Help them to recall how they will feel when they get what the money will provide. You may have to help them tweak their plan, or even discard the plan and create a new one. Once a goal is set; it must be me, though the goal may need to be revised. That is okay. It may have been too difficult or too easy for the skills and knowledge of your affiliate. If you revise the goal, you may want to revise the amount of the TripleClicks Gift Certificate.

Another way to reinforce the motivation, is to find out what the affiliate will do with the TripleClicks Gift Certificate. Perhaps they will use it to help their team members, or get a gift for someone special, or even treat themself for accomplishing their goal. When you are coaching them, help them remember why they want to win that TC gift certificate from you.

When you work with an affiliate in this manner, you will both be encouraged. You will both learn new things. You will have an affiliate to rave about on Stream and on your Leadership Blog. Mainly, you'll grow your leadership and coaching skills, grow closer to your affiliate, and feel a warm glow inside you.

Hi Jovan! It depends. How many new affiliates did you get today? One? Ten? 50? 1679?

Personally, I've sent individual emails to 23 new affiliates on one day. That was my welcome letter, and it is the same for each new affiliate. Then I noted my action on the Affiliate Manager, Notes tab (found on the affiliate snapshot). I also completed the Start section, and marked my welcome letter as sent.

That process takes some time. If you do SFI after you have worked your primary job, taken care of your children, the house, your spouse, and whatever else you day entails, you may be pressed for time to devote to all those letters and record keeping.

Furthermore, even if you work full time at SFI, do you really think you can do 1679 welcome letters to your new affiliates, and note it on your Affiliate Manager, plus your advertising, plus help your affiliates that have asked for help, and do your To-Do List, all today? This is a duplicate-able business, or should be. If you have more than a few new affiliates each day, sending individual welcome letters, I believe, isn't feasible.

Here is what I now suggest. Go to your genealogy and use the filter to select only the new affiliates that joined today, copy your welcome letter, be sure to use ~FIRSTNAME~ so the system inserts their first name into the welcome letter, and read it again to catch any errors (and correct them), and send the letter. ALL of your new affiliates will get an email that addresses them by name, and includes of the information that you believe they need at this time.

Then note on the Affiliate Snapshot, at Start, that you have sent the welcome email. Note the date you sent it on Notes, and save your notes. The pencil will turn green on Genealogy when you have a note. That way you know you sent the welcome letter by looking at your Genealogy.

When they answer your email, it is time to give personal attention to your new affiliate. Take all the time you and your new affiliate need to take. While this is a simple business, it takes time to learn to work it. Now you can develop a relationship over time. Now you can begin to develop a friendship. Congratulations, at this point, it is a two-way communication!

Be glad you "almost" gave up! You didn't! I did. I joined and quit in 2008, and again in 2010. I "almost" gave in October, 2013. But I didn't. Had I stayed and worked in either 2008 or 2010, I would be so much further along SFI journey in success.

The question is why did stay after losing all I had worked 18 months for? Yes, I became an affiliate again, after being EA2 and sometimes even BTL during those 18 months.

Because:
1) I had not found anything better.
2) I had been paid consistently for 18 months.
3) I had been doing the definition of insanity most of that time: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
4) I had tried to find someone else's formula that would work for me.
5) I did not think for myself. (Ah ha! There's a key!)
6) Erich Winnecke is from Indiana, USA, and so am I. (I've been transplanted to California, USA, but my roots are in Indiana soil.) If he can work and be persistent and patient and then earn more money in SFI in 1 month than I have ever earned in 1 year, I better stick with it and think for myself.

So I have decided that this isn't the time to quit. This is the time to learn more, try more, fail more, and do that all over again until I succeed. If that takes 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years--so be it. I WILL to be a successful internet marketer.

What will keep me pushing forward?
1) Knowing, for certain, that SFI is what it says it.
2) Rereading, and actually doing what George Little's Internet Marketing says.
(That's called "getting actual experience".)
3) Remembering that there really isn't a better or easier program out there. (I've looked--and you probably have too.)
4) My PSAs and CSAs and my A2A friends are a great source of inspiration.
5) I have dropped all my other direct sales distributorships because I really wasn't working them. I had too many conflicting things to do. Now I can focus on building a business that builds people. That's what I want to do.

You will have to find what matters most to you to keep pushing forward. Search your heart. You'll find your push!

When you buy or win Custom Prestige Domains, you have the opportunity to make your gateways and other webpages memorable.

I think it is best to use them where people will see them and remember them--at least until they can write it down. Such places are car signs, window signs, and yard signs.

For example: You are driving, and you see a sign on a car that says: ba.HomeBusinessMillionaire.com. Think you can remember that? Or you walk by a car in a parking lot that says freestuff.ezInfoCenter.com. You think you'll remember where to get the free stuff? Same goes for windows on cars or on buildings and homes.

Inexpensive yard signs are available. Give your neighbors some free TCredits for letting you post a sign in their yard. I'm sure you can do better than this idea: BuyAndSell.ezInfoCenter.com. This goes to my TripleClicks page.

Use these anywhere you want your url to be memorable. Use them on flyers, print ads, business cards, on your signature email, forum signature, and article biobox. If you are doing video ads, hosting a seminar, use these urls. They are easier to remember and there will be less mistakes in typing in the url. That means you'll get more visitors.

The fun part is choosing the words. When you get your Custom Prestige Domain, you'll get to choose which ones you want. Then you make them your own.

In the examples above: In my ba.homebusinessmillionaire.com, I was given .homebusinessmillionaire.com. My job was to decide what came before the "." at the beginning. When I used .ezInfoCenter.com, I created one for Wave3 "FreeStuff", and one for TripleClicks, "BuyAndSell".

When you get your Custom Prestige Domains, take your time deciding what you want to use. Decide what message you want to give. Create several for each domain you choose. Sleep on it, then make your final decision.

Your next job is to find many places to put these memorable urls. Have fun. Plaster these all over your town and internet. You may be surprised what turns up.

W3 is only $1.95 US dollars. It gives you an advertising tool that works 24/7 whenever the car is out of the garage. You don't have to spend more money to renew it--simply answer a few questions. TripleClicks even gives you a reminder on the Alerts tab when it is time to renew.

W3 can give you TripleClicks members. Be sure to get contact information when you give out a card about TripleClicks, so you can follow up. You may be able to discuss SFI after they have joined TripleClicks.

S-Builder Co-op is a method of advertising for PSAs and TripleClicks members. It's $24 a month, $22 as a Standing Order, or even less if your sponsor is running a co-op for the team. You will not need to contact your TripleClicks members, in fact, you can't. Once you have sponsored a TripleClicks member through the S-Builder Co-op, you have completed your job. Further advertising is done by TripleClicks. PSAs acquired through the S-Builder Co-op need tending just like the PSAs you sponsor through other advertising.

Here's the big difference: W3 advertising is local for you. S-Builder Co-op is international. Both are very good. They are just 2 different types of advertising. I suggest you try them both-not necessarily at the same time.

Suggest!

You can provide positive and constructive instruction in your emails by suggesting ideas for your downline.

Always word your suggestions in a positive light. Suggest to them the things you want them to do--not what you don't want them to do. Example: "I find that logging in daily and doing the items on my To-Do List consistently gives me 11 VP daily. That adds up over a week." Rather than: "Don't miss a day of logging in. You will miss VP." While that is true, I'll give the first example a happy face when I read it, and I'll feel like a sad face when I read the second example.

In the first example, the words "I find" is showing them what you do, and what results you get. It is an unstated suggestion.

When a downline member "misses" some VP, you may suggest they correct that by saying: "I noticed you missed __________________ . You will get __ VP by completing it today."
Sometimes I use "Tip" cards to do this.

Remember the halo effect. When they feel positive after reading your suggestions, they will tend to feel positive about you. It is easier to build a relationship with someone who looks at you in a positive light, don't you agree?
